What spray was used?
I just heard about CimeXa
From google it's an insecticide dust which is used to treat bed bugs and fleas. It is made up of a high level of synthetic non-crystalline silica. Non-crystalline silica dust does not cause silicosis.
Apparently it's a lot better than diatomaceous earth since diatomaceous earth are composed entirely of amorphous silicon dioxide and consequently are harmful to human health by inhalation .
He said it was some can of spray directly labled for beg bugs.

I've decided to go the professional route. Will only do the heat treatment although most who advertise heat treatment probably also use chemicals to ensure better results. Can anyone recommend a good company that uses only heat treatment and no chemicals.

So I had an inspection done by a professional bed bug company and they couldn't find any bed bugs in my home. Turned over the bed and checked everything and everywhere. Nothing. This looks to be a false alarm. I may have anxiety of everything bad happening

What made you think you had them? You said you had them before.

I see things. Not the actual bed bugs themselves. In all this time I actually did only see one and that could have very well been something else. It was red and apple seed size. Since in my mind I already thought I had bed bugs I thought that was one. Had to google what else could it be if not bed bugs. I don't see any evidence every day. Which probably explains why I was in denial and that it would just go away. With white bedding I suppose you could see things that would otherwise be missed. Sometimes I would see blood stains. Drop drop pattern. Sometimes I would see what looks like very small pellets which I though could be droppings. Also in drop drop pattern. I would see light blotched stains. Again in drop drop patterns. Perhaps once every few days. Most days looking back I have to admit nothing happened but nowadays my paranoia sets in as it seems like so many things are going on in my mind.

I stay in hotels ~70 nights a year and bedbugs freak me out. To minimize the chances of bringing them home, I do a bed check right when I get in the room. Before checking out I do a body check to see if I have any bites. If I see any, I dump my suitcase and stuff and will not bring them home. The stuff I bring to the hotel are cheap, so even if i throw everything out, I would only be out a couple hundred dollars. Assuming everything checks out, as soon as I get home everything goes into a thing call Zappbug, which is like a large oven where I heat treat my suitcase, clothes, electronics, etc. I didn’t want to buy the zappbug, but it works and gives me a piece of mind.

A tip for people staying in hotel rooms. Most rooms have the headboard mounted onto a wooden rail. If you can lift the headboard off the rail, look behind it for bugs. The bugs want to stay close to potential food sources and stay close to the bed in dark crevices.

That doesn't work if you have bedbugs on the clothes you are wearing.
