I wonder if the reason the bear went after the monkey wasn't because of a mix up in training. How do you get a bear to ride a bicycle ? Even if you get him up on it - how do you motivate him into riding around the circus ring. I'm guessing you put a nice large treat in font of him to follow. Maybe he just thought the monkey was that treat.

I do not know where this circus was taking place. They have Asiatic bears in parts of Russia as well, as Russia goes to within sight of Alaska.
