Do the right thing....

$$ C A N A DA $$

What happens when and if the Federal government sends each one of us a $600 rebate as was done in the US. If we spend it at Wal-Mart, the money will go to China.

If we spend it on gasoline, the money will go to the Arabs.

If we purchase a computer it will go to India.

If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala

If we purchase a car, it will go to Japan.

If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the Canadian economy.

The only way to keep the money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes, weed, beer and tattoos since these are the only products still produced in CANADA.

Thank you for your help and please support your country!

Actually this weekend I splurged on myself and bought 2 pair of jeans at Marks Work Warehouse.

Denver Hayes brand on sale @ $39.99

At home I looked at the label and I was shocked to see MADE IN CANADA.

Guess it is possible to support Canadian made goods still.

Fuck China.

Depends, they also carry products made in Canada

If we spend it on gasoline, the money will go to the Arabs.

Wrong, we don't import oil into Canada, we export Gasoline to the US

If we purchase a computer it will go to India.

Possibly some of the components are, some are still made in the US.

If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to Mexico, Honduras and Guatemala

So, only buy foodland ontario food.

If we purchase a car, it will go to Japan.

Only if you buy japanese......

If we purchase useless crap it will go to Taiwan and none of it will help the Canadian economy.

So, buy milk, bread, meat, chicken, fish, there's millions of things made in Canada......

The only way to keep the money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes, weed, beer and tattoos since these are the only products still produced in CANADA.

That's the whole problem I think: people don't buy Canadian. It may cost a little more but when you do, you support the economy base.

when I used to wear cords I always bought Levis as they were the only brand that had the direction of the waistband cord correct...vertical not horizontal. Corduroy shrinks along the grain of the cord and if the cord is horizontal the waistband would shrink a half size upon the first washing.

I will have a look at Costco though I am partial to paying the premium to support Marks. I like their stuff from their gofl shirts to shorts to winter gear.

Or the U.S., or the Germans, or the Italians if you have enough for a Ferrari or Lambo.

Canada doesn't have its own car manufacturer.

But ...some cars are made here, in Ontario infact. Buying a Civic would support some of our local workforce I think.
