I just heard over the news that a BC china man was caught by RCMP for
running bawdyhouse in 4 apartments. He uses craigslist for his ads online.

RCMP wasn't successful laying charges on "Li" due to language barrier and none of the girls were willing to testify.

Hold on. Jian Feng "Michael" Li was charged with living off the avails of prostitution and four counts of keeping a common bawdy house.

What the R.C.M.P. were unable to charge him with was human trafficking, and that because of language barriers, the reluctance of victims and witnesses to testify during a much more involved process, and the fact that most of the women left Canada.

Pretty odd to notice none of the handful of CBC in RCMP could be available to do the investigation of this nature, especially in Vancouver, BC. Are they really "bananas" after all?

If this is the symptom of the security apparatus to handle "petty crime" from Asia, God helps us when we do not have the stuffs and resources to stop determined agents from those Asian countries to create identity here and use Canada as a springboard to spy on the States.

Or simply RCMP is not a career path for many Asians since they would rather be professionals like Doctors, Dentists, Accountants or Engineers.

It's equally possible quite a number of them leave Canada to pursuit careers in Asia, send kids to study here and come back when they retire.

The funny thing is the RCMP commented on forcing to shut down the erotic section of craigslist in Canada. It is shutdown in the U.S. already... I wondered if that would really happened here! I bet a not of scam artists and amateur sp would be out of biz or they will be to come to terb or similar sort of forum
