Not really since the stock and activities more closer resemble penny gold mining stocks. Running at a fraction of it's former value, you can make a good profit just from a published comment about the great colours of the BB10 packaging.
Penny gold mind stocks are so to avoid, yes they go on projections. In mining there are a couple of key factors .

Got one. Compared it to a family member's Iphone and another's Android. Z10 is superior in all respects, including speed and functionality. Sorry Apple fanboys.

Hi there,

I don't think they have the time to let a delayed upgrade cycle. A disappointing US rollout will be tough. And from the research i've done this Z10 will not sell well in the developing nations. The price point is just too high.

I could be wrong and the empty lines and inventory left over could be a false sign.

We shall see

Well lets not forget that Google bought Motorola and surprise, surprise they haven't been sitting on their hands. July is the estimate for the new Motorola X (that's all we know now, I'm sure he marketing guys are still trying to figure out what to call it, but with everything improved (battery life, 4 cores and some stuff that is rumored to be from outer space) and of course seamless integration with everything Google (and Android 5.0), it could be just what BlackBerry doesn't need :)

Wow, i wasn't aware, so you have Samsung with the Galaxy 4 and the Motorola offering and BB still hasn't released the Z10 in the U.S. yet????

Yes, see the full article (one of many cropping up now) at: http://www.insidermonkey.com/blog/research-in-motion-ltd-bbry-should-have-made-this-phone-64904/ a exerpt:

Research In Motion Ltd (BBRY) Should Have Made This Phone

The rumor mill is percolating with reports of a new superphone. One insider at Australian telco Telstra calls it a "real breakthrough, a game changer that will put pressure on Samsung and Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL). "Other insiders slather icing on the cake: "It has software features and capabilities that are not available on a Samsung Galaxy smartphone or Apple iPhone. The software is really powerful and it pulls together Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) services like no other manufacturer has done in the past."
Hold it right there. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) services? Yep. This supposed game changer is the Motorola X, the first Motorola smartphone to hit the market since Big G bought the company. Set to debut in July, this would be the next top-shelf Android to duke it out with Apple's brand new iPhone, currently expected to appear in June. Why am I acting so surprised? Because this sounds like exactly the thing that Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) should have released last month, but didn't....

And what I have observed in República Dominicana (which is semi-third world) is an increasing number of locals with Android and iPhones where the staple and standard used to be BlackBerry. Years ago you could identify the working girls (beeper chicas) as they all had BlackBerrys (pagers before that I assume from the jargon) but that ability faded fast because soon EVERYONE had a BlackBerry, now many of those lovely ladies are packing iPhones or Android. Last chica I saw up close and personal had an iPhone 4s.

I'm almost convinced that windows phone is going to be a massive fail, but blackberry I think could have a real chance being a threat to android / ios duopoly.

I'd like apps for major banks, forum runner, a good map app and a good book reader app with all available books on it comparable to selection I'd find on google play or iTunes. Bb10 doesn't appear to have any of that yet.

So much for the Z10 PRICING thread.

Only post missing is Woodpecker proclaiming "Linux Rules" , and it will be like every other thread in the Tech section.

Oh, and the Bell outlet at the UofT bookstore had a $0 cost for the Z10 on a 3 year plan, that was matched at other stores, and still may be, if you mention it.
