Neither am I, and I actually found a lot of this episode rather slow. I was giving it the big thumbs down (rare for a Galactica episode) until the very end when it happened. What ultimately happened to Starbuck was, to me, quite unexpected.hungry said:
The social aspect of stratification of society based on parent's jobs is one I'm glad they explored but it didn't really deserve to be the sole focus of an episode. Adama's position at the end of requiring people to follow orders else place the ship at risk is a concept they could have worked in more strongly. Who knows - maybe they will yet.
I'm kind of surprised they keep delaying showing Balthar's trial. They kept building towards it but still haven't started the trial. I wonder if that will somehow be the cliffhanger ending of season 3? It's almost as if the writers are treading water until the last couple of episodes for season 3.

Before her dialog with Lee, you see her reaching for the eject handle so punching out is not out of the question. I seem to recall seeing something about her being pregnant in the extras of the season 2.5 DVD, maybe this is for her time off?!?

Regardless of the "ejecting", she passed the hardline .... so whether she ejected or not she would still be crushed like a "tin can" or so they make you think.
Katie Sackhoff signed for a six year contract three years ago. That doesn't mean they're going to use her for all six years, just that they have the option. However, she's filming a pilot for another show this week (it should be in the news soon what show), but because of her BSG contract she is not allowed to take a lead role.
