Complete ball hog my ass. He is Philli. He's the entire team. He averages 6.6 assists per game by the way.

Like others have mentioned, the supporting cast around Vince have to step up. Rose needs to find his touch, and Murray needs to be given more minutes. What can he possibly accomplish in 17.3 MPG? Rumour has it that Kevin Oneill has something personal against him. Murray actually spoke out about this issue a couple of days ago.

I can see Bosh developing into another KG type of player in the next couple of years (not as good though). He has to add some major bulk however. Mo Pete has to be traded while he's worth something. We desperately need a big man. Toronto is one of the most undersized team in the NBA. (Bradley and Archibald don't count, and I don't think I need to explain why).

This is KG's year. If he doesn't win MVP, no one should.

I can't believe you guys are defending Murray. The man was a starter and played straight for 2 -3 months with no visible improvement. Granted, he didn't play the previous year. And i understand that he has to get his timing down, but he didn't show ANY visible improvement during his playing stint. JMHO.

Also, we should trade Alvin. Thats hard to say because i'm a big Alvin fan. That man has been the cornerstone of this team for years.

With Tim Duncan out for a few games (bruised thigh), I wonder how the spurs are going to do? This should be a true test of how valuable he is. I still think KG has been the perrenial MVPfor the past 3 or 4 seasons. I still say a Kobe for Vince trade would ok in my books. He is clutch and has desire and intensity.

I love the basketball talk. I play in a fantasy basketball league, and because of that I try to follow all the teams, and I have the DirecTV NBA package. I don't know the birthdays of anyone in my family, but I can tell you who is the starting 4, and who is the first guy off the bench for every NBA team.

As far as the topic of this thread, I think VC should be traded if it helps the team (duh). Right now, I can't imagine a realistic scenario where I can envision the Raptors being significantly better without him. I also think it is instructive to look at teams who look like they are on their way up and see how they did it...

Exhibits A, B, and C:

A: New Jersey - They have had good drafts (Kittles, Martin, Jefferson) and obviously made a hell of a trade (Kidd for Marbury). Arguably they have had some great coaching, although what they did to Byron Scott was a crime.

B: Memphis - They have a great coach (Hubie Brown) and some solid young talent (Gasol, Miller, Swift, Battier). The Bonzi Wells trade was a steal. The only guy on that team I really don't like is Jason Williams. Now granted, this team has sucked for a really long time, but it is interesting to see what a good coach, and a good GM (Jerry West) can do.

C: Denver - They have good complimentary players (Nene, Camby, Lenard), a solid point (Miller), and a budding superstar (Anthony). They have built this team over the years via the draft and picking up spare parts here and there.

I could also argue the Raps are not really in that bad shape. They are beat up right now, but in the ragtag Eastern Conference, any team can win. Carter, Rose, Bosh, Williams, Marshall are a good nucleus, but their bench stinks.

Hey, the raptors waived lonny baxtor and picked up Danny Glover today, what does everyone think of that? he has decent numbers from atlanta, "10.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 26.6 minutes in 55 games with Atlanta this season".. Those are alright numbers for 27 minutes. Than again, it was for Atlanta, not exactly a winning team. We have an abundance of guard/forwards now..

I think Dion Glover is of the same ilk as Moe Pete and Lamond Murray. Another small forward, great. I think Danny Glover was great in the Lethal Weapon movies.

Haha my bad, Dion Glover it is. I remember at the beginning of the season O'neil was going to have this new vaunted offensive scheme, get vince the ball down low and stuff like that, new moves ect,ect.. The offensive playbook looks very similar to last year, Vince gets the ball, passes it around, gets it back and shootsfrom hte top of the key.

The L.A. Lakers are making their move to take over this NBA thing come playoff time. Kobe is raising his game and the big fella is becoming the MDE once more. For those who who don't know thats most dominant ever. Also the GLOVE is going to get us easy buckets in the transition game and the Mailman upon his return will hit the outside J to relieve the pressure from SHAQ. Can you say title number 9 for Zen Master Jackson.

Jackson's number nine was the 2002 championship, he had 6 with the bulls and 3 with the lakers.

Coming off a dismal 9 game losing streak, the Raptors amazingly maintain sole possession of 6th place! LOL, what a joke the Eastern conference is!

NOW is the time to rebuild the team around the our heart and soul, our future star, MILF FELLATIO!

MILF, MILF, MILF!
