Based on your appearance vs reality

I listen to music that has depth like classical or King Crimson or Hendrix.
The structure of pop music is all the same and the lyrics are shallow

I doubt anyone would think that because my appearance is blue collar

What I like. Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Cheap Trick, Mumford and Sons, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Sabbath, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith.

Most strangers peg me for a musician or an architect oddly so along those lines;
Assume - perhaps rock? Not really sure
Actual - Electronic music mostly with a side of jazz, classical, R&B, blues and maybe some grungy stuff here and there.

Must have good energy and a beat more or less.

Redneck, country music about pick up trucks.
What I actually enjoy is Dreampop. Cocteau Twins, Caroline Loveglow etc. I love those sweet, angelic harmonies with swooping melodies.

Always been that way. Ever since I since I discovered Souixie Souix in the 80’s.

I also like bjork. As weird as she is I find her voice captivating and her personality is juuuuuust barely on this side of sanity.

Which makes her hot.

Probably country music. I dress for the weather and I dress for doing work around my house. Even if I'm wearing nice clothes I put on a plaid coat and pants over top so my clothes don't get dirty, ripped or get burn marks. I listen to everything but only recently started listening to a little bit of country music. Chris Stapleton is something else.

I change genres as I age. It started in the early 80s with pop then rap, metal, hip hop, R&B, reggae, dance, house, techno (raves and clubs), alternative, jazz, opera and most recently country and now K-Pop. I also love music from around the world (pop/folk/etc.). I probably missed something. I probably dressed like I listened to those genres during those times.

I've been following this local jazz fusion band called Lavender Town... They play covers of MF Doom and Zelda. They just did a candlelight concert.
