i worked with her at Citi...she dressed like a whore, came in late, would call out (claiming her son was sick meanwhile going to Vegas), was unprofessional, couldn't speak properly, couldn't acquire customers...her red sole heels were 4in platform peep toes that looked more like they belonged at at a strip club than at the office. She was more interested in her looks throughout the day than meeting her goals. btw...NOT wearing a bra while wearing a tight turtleneck in the middle of winter so everyone could admire her $15k boob job...yeah---um, that IS calling attention to yourself.
I don't think the whole truth will come out, who knows if the person who wrote the comment is truthful or not, or even really knows her. Either way, I'd hire her as my personal secretary, skimpy clothing only, lol

She's not as hot as she thinks she is and if she spends 80% of her time thinking about how hot and sexy she is, - probably the quality of her work is shit. So, bank makes a good call in tossing her ass out on the street.
Her lawsuit is freaky and weird. She's a loser, not a focused career woman.

Banks are notoriously conservative so I'm not surprised. And remember, her boss could have been an ugly old hag who couldn't stand that she was getting all the attention.

After looking at some of her piks though, I suspect there were other outfits she was wearing that were inappropriate. She very well could be a desperate attention whore.
It is unlikely that the whole truth and nothing but the truth are presented here by the woman and the bank. Incidentally why don't banks just make employees wear uniforms as so many places do? Wouldn't that solve the dress too sexy problem. LOL!!!

The few pictures I saw of her wearing work clothes she looked entirely appropriate. I've worked with hotter women who wore tighter clothes.

Sometimes it is pretty hard to maintain a proper work/life separation--I am a firm believer in "no honey where you get your money" but sometimes it's so hard. That said I don't mind the view, I can concentrate and get my job done even if some hot woman is jiggling her boobs in my face. That's what SP's are for! Relieving the tension at lunch so I can concentrate on my job!

My 0.02 worth is that she will be the Playboy celebrity nude for September 2010. Physically, she sort of reminds me of the now retired Angelique @ Mirage.
I was just gonna say that, Playboy will be knocking now, just a matter of time.

She wasn't a teller.

These are finance people (i.e. MBA-types).

Not a financial guy, but I think their job is to get high rollers to invest in banking products, mutual funds, etc.

From what I heard, Citi Financial is a starting point for many brand new MBA grads.

The guy firing her was probably upset she looked better in heels than he did. We have a lot of fatties in our office who are just seething with jealousy. One of the female managers complained about a dress one of the summer students was wearing. The girl was cute and like in this article, we have fat girls wearing much more risqué clothing - (which looks gross).

Anyway the girls was in tears and went to Dad to complain ... her Dad the owner of the company ! He was livid and demanded a written description of the dress code. His daughter was well within the guidelines. The manager wasn't fired but there was certainly a change in attitude towards the summer students outfits that helped other students select nicer outfits with out fearing discrimination because they look good.

she isn't that hot. there were way hotter chicks working at the place i used to when i was in finance. i think she's just an attention whore.
Huh. It will be interesting to see what she chooses for her next occupation. One of us will have the check the New York escort boards in a few months to see if she's working.

Walk into any stock brokers office or major law firm in Toronto and Montreal and you will see dozens of better looking women. In the summer they will also be dressed better.

Sounds to me like she doesn't have much of a case and she and her lawyer are trying this angle to either embarrass the bank into a settlement or get her that 15 seconds of fame that she can parlay into something.

The bank has her work record, I am sure they will have a few Gertrudes that work with her to testify un her unprofessional conduct, and all the pics on the internet supports the plaintifs case.
She will loose this case, but I am sure that she has gotten hundreds of offers from other places that need a flaunter. She can not be a spokesperson if she can not speak properly, if she can not deliver and concentrate on her job then she will be used by the other companies.

BTW - She has a nice body, but her face is plain. Beauty is a natural born gift, her attractiveness is from her clothes and body.

Great points, Ceiling. I wonder who paid for the pics on the internet? I was just reading the story in the NY Daily news online - she's a divorced, single mother. As hot as she thinks she is, there is some guy out there who grew tired of her antics. And he's probably the guy who shelled out the $15k for her implants.

You need to leverage what you have, I guess....

She is claiming she was fired because her looks were a distraction at work. She is an attractive woman but she has to be drop dead gorgeous to be a distraction.

Her looks should be an advantage if she is in sales or marketing.

I agree about the face, it's mediocre, but the body and clothes are the main thing about her.

the hobby needs more capitalism
Thoughts.

1) Citi has a dress code. She didn't conform to it. I'd be surprised if Citi didn't do their due diligence before firing her. HR is there not for the workers but to protect corporate from legal action.

2) I agree with the opinion expressed earlier. She's attractive but not white hot HB9.5.

3) Sounds like she's probably been advised she will lose if it goes to trial, so she's hoping for the next best thing; a settlement and publicity.

4) Her lawyer has quite the history. He was sued for sexual harassment by a former employee. According to the complaint, he watched porn at his desk, loves fem domination fantasies, wore a slave collar to work and talked about his pierced genitalia. Some insight into the mentality of a soft omega white knight lawyer.

Banks are notoriously conservative so I'm not surprised.
But seemingly Citibank/Citigroup didn't bother to consult their corporate counsel before they fired here. If there is any evidence that they fired her for her looks - she's likely going to be able to live on her investment income in the future!

Citibank made Lorenzana sign a mandatory-arbitration clause as a condition of her employment, the case will never end up before a jury or judge. An arbitrator will decide.
If I were Citigroup, I wouldn't count my chickens quite yet. U.S. Courts really hate mandatory-arbitration clauses being used to "screw-over" righteous plaintiffs.

We will see what we will see. It sounds DJK like you may know more of the details than I thus far have heard. But Citi better hope all of the above is well documented.

In the end Citi still may settle, since it may be a sounder economic decision for them to come to a settlement, than pay the costs of litigation and also risk a judgement against them.
