I plan to go there for a week or less vacation. This is what I want in the package:
1. 4-5 stars hotel with great service and cleanliness of course and allows me to bring girls into my room
2. close to restaurant or good place to eat
3. I'm gonna hobby like crazy there, so yeah close to the place for hobbyist
4. Canadian tourist friendly (asian canadian to be precise)

Do you asian guys know if you asian canadian get the same treatment as the european decent when it comes to hobbying in bangkok?

I dont have anyone to go with, so if anyone is planning to go there this year let me know!

Majesticsuites.com is the best hotel in Bangkok for doing what we do. Good price, amazing location, outstanding rooms, great service. If you're into the 50 m pool/gym/michelin restaurant kinda deal, then google conrad bangkok...but the location is awkward and there might be charges for bringing back the girls.

Asians don't get treated any differently than westerners...lots of japanese and koreans go there regularly and have very good reputations with locals. Same all over the world - treat people nice and it'll come back to you.

Also...you gotta remember Bangkok is a 12 hour time difference. Day for you is night to them. Your jet lag will be severe. To go so far for only a week....is really not enough. I highly recommend a longer period....try to visit Phuket and Pattaya, they also have options for hobbyists like us.

okay....i think i can stay for 2 weeks.

Is the president park hotel is local girls friendly, and do they charge extra to bring local girl in? Have you stayed there?

I haven't stayed there but it comes recommended by many others. Try emailing the hotel about the "guest charge". I think you may get around it by booking a double suite.
i read bad reviews about its cleanliness over there. How about Park Plaza hotel?
It's more money, but i dont mind as long as its clean, great service, and girl friendly

I enjoyed staying at the Majestic. Close to Nana (around the corner), clean, girl friendly - no extra charges, a decent breakfast included - not a 4 star by any means but you are not going to find many that will not charge you for a guest and may not allow guests at all.

Nana City Inn... =) .... their parking lot @ 2 am is infamous for pickups. Their inhouse disco is a good avenue for watching expat hijinks too. I don't know if I'd recommend a location like that for a newbie like gentle_lover...he sounds like he likes the creature comforts....

You are thinking of a different hotel......

The Nana Hotel is not the same as the Nana City Inn. They are on opposite sides of the street. I've stayed in both.
