May I ask what the new house which will be run by the Repugs will do for

1 Higher gas prices
2 Higher cost of pretty much everything else
3 Higher carbon emission level
4 Bigger total public debt

besides ridiculous investigations and trying to elect a leader for their mission?
Easy.
1. Investigate Hunter Biden
2. Investigate Hunter Biden
3. Investigate Hunter Biden
4. Investigate Hunter Biden

New house will be controlled by Republicans with only a
narrow majority. I think it could be the smallest majority
in 20--30 years. Democrats who control the WH and senate
will be blamed for those things.

I think we will be seeing in 2024:

4 Bigger total public debt

in comparison to what it was in 2020. There will be
not-so-bad news awaiting Republicans in 2024.
Actually gas and oil prices are now at an optimum level for American oil producers and consumers. Under Trump many oil producers went bankrupt due to the low prices. Trump cut production to raise the price which was a foolish and short sighted move as he must have expected the pandemic to have people and businesses locked down for far longer than they were.

I think it will basically be the same margin the Dems had since 2020. Not smaller. (Maybe even a bit bigger.)

I didn't even bother to take a second look into the table in the link. I did
think Republican was going to have a even smaller majority than what the
Democrats had. Maybe you are right.

I think the Trump Issue is becoming crucial for the GOP's. The dinner with the neo nazis and his demand that the Constitution be scrapped might be the final straws, even for some of his Base.
I said that when he openly mocked a disabled guy on stage… got caught admitting he sexually assaults women with the “grab them by the pussy” soundbite… and paid off a porn star and playmate separately, shut-up money through a lawyer.

There are still righties on this board who support him simply because he is not liberal. Liberals will give you healthcare. They act like we give them herpes.

It is not fraud or cheating if it is in support of the GOP. That is 5he way their understanding of democracy works.
So true, just like if a mob of MAGA, Trump loving idiots storm the Capitol...those guys are patriots fighting the tyranny of democracy.
