I think they're okay with a Trump presidency, as long as he plays along with Mitch's shopping list for their big $ donors.

They just don't think Trump can be elected, given the flops in 2020 and 2022. They want the same Trump flavour in a De Santis bottle. That way, they can trot out the same "culture war" bullshit, but ditch the senile, fat, orange guy and his weird rants about elections being stolen.

2 Higher cost of pretty much everything else
3 Higher carbon emission level
4 Bigger total public debt

in comparison to what it was in 2020. There will be

Also not so bad news is the increasing realization of who the real RINOs are. The Donald just empowered the growing Dump Trump movement with his pronouncement on the US Constitution. Look for a Trumpist 3rd party (Great Freedom Liberty Party or the like) to siphon off some of the mindless anger vote that the GOP has come to rely on. That's not so bad news for us Dems and most of the rest of the world...
