Bad anthem singer

I feel bad for the kid. Obviously she is a young kid starting out. It's easy to sit back and laugh, but have a heart. She's probably crushed and embarrassed.
She was on Good Morning America yesterday morning and sang both anthems. There was also no ice so she did not have to worry about falling down.
I feel bad for her as well but it also was hard not to chuckle. She seemed pretty cool about the whole thing on GMA.

...would we even know anything about her were it not for this little incident?...my alltime fave was when Carl Lewis tried to sing...HILARITY!...he couldn't hit the notes and then in between the lyrics, he would say how he was gonna hit the next note!...UNREAL!!!!!rsalomon said:
I actually saw the clip on CNN Sunday morning. I was a bit surprised to see it on CNN. Millions must've seen it. I felt bad really bad for the singer. Then when she slipped and fell, it just seemed like something straight out of The Naked Gun movies. My favourite female CNN news anchor was laughing at her too.

I can feel for her somewhat but if you are going to do a live professional performance, at least know the words to the song! lol TFF
Sure, she was embarassed, and she should be. I could understand not doing a great job, maybe singing a little off key, or rythym being a bit off or technically being off, but sheesh, even I know the words to the US national anthem!

They talked about it today on PTI...you cant help but laugh, but at the same time you have to feel bad for...Cdn players were getting ripped for not helping her...
