Back from Costa Rica..

and what can I say but WOW!!!

even aside from the hobbying....what a great place, beautiful scenery, beautiful women...lots to do.....great place

as for the hobbying...well....the hype is all true

Imagine sitting in a nice bar and there are 15-25 beautiful women...mainly lovely hispanics but a few whites and blacks...many 7 and 8's...only very few 6 or lower--and a occasional 9 (and of course those are always in the eye of the beholder)....and just gazing around like a kid in a candy store....it is almost too hard to chose!!! and everyone knows what is what...no need to be shy....pick one out...a smile, you wander over..."Hola my name is..." and you are off to the races...

The above for me was mainly the Sportsman Lodge. Yes I check out other famous places like the Del-Ray---but that place was to me kinda of overwhelming, and many of the women are I don't know---"harder"

and other places--Dunn Inn, Little Havana...almost too many to chose

and then of course there are also plenty of "massage parlours" thrown in

prices---well mostly uno cien ($100 bucks-or 50,000 colones) for a little over an hour...perhaps less if you go for a little older...one night $200 for an overnighter...the parlours--can be lot cheaper...down to as little as $20 for 1/2 hour

and all legal....and both the bars and the parlours screen the girls (age, etc)...

so yes--all in all.....a hobbying paradise...

I went to Costa Rica for 2 weeks last Feb and was in awe, I'm actually in the midst of planning another trip there right now.
I can't stress strong enough how incredibly gorgeous and in-shape/toned/fit and downright beautiful those ladies are!! The whole country, beautifullll..
Only in San Jose did I see fat people, the entire country is fit and they eat healthy (minus the McPukes and KFC etc in the large cites)..
If you go, stop at Shoppers DrugMart/Dollar Stores etc and buy a handful of reading glasses.
I came home reading disabled but made 2 incredibly lovely ladies futures a lot brighter by simply handing over my glasses and backup pair. They were honestly, literally crying when they found out they could now read! The costs are beyond their means and I get them free on my health plan or $20 at Zehrs.

The girls in the Del Rey are generally more "hardened" as you say...but you can also find some real gems there, especially during the day & most especially if you have some espanol. Lots of great info on CRT, I've been a member there for years.

If I had spent more time just in San Jose esp in the days, I might have taken more time in the Del Rey....but I had some very busy days this time

But I found sportsman--good, but not overwhelming, selection....in the time span of one or two beers you could chat up a few that caught your eyes and be headed back to your room...

Now that I have been once, next time maybe I try out the DR more...

Yeah, Sportsmen's is a nice place for a change-up, the girls are no pressure & generally nicer. I'm planning to go back May 24 weekend...been too long since I've been back.

Although I walked through the Del Rey a couple of times (sorta like walking through a mall and window shopping), my shopping experiences were limited to the Sportmens Lodge, conveniently located around the corner from my hotel, La Amistad. Better than your average local convenience store, and the goods were always fresh. More supply and variety than I needed.

yep pretty much my exact same experience--Amistad with "shopping" at the SL....

There's a bar called the Beatle Bar. That's where the working girls hang out in the evening. I believe the going rate is $100 for one shot but I imagine it can be negotiated down. No idea about overnight.

Dude, Jaco sucks. Although I haven't been there in about 4 years, word on CRT is that the girls there charge more than the girls in San Jose & the Jaco girls are not as attractive. Worst of all, Jaco is dead during the day, so you'd better have something to do otherwise. Also, it's hot as the devil's a-hole & the beach is heavily polluted.
