One of my rules, and something I always tell hobbyists, is to always check the bathroom.

When I go in, I ask to use it. If she won't let me in, I'll leave. And when I do go in, I pull back the showercurtain to make sure nobody is behind it.

If they won't let you use the bathroom, that just tells you right away that they have no respect for cleanliness, which itself is a big red flag, even if a pimp isn't hiding in there. And if someone is hiding in there, you have no idea what their intentions are.

Typically the girl takes your money and then says sorry, get out. Then maybe some muscle, or even a second girl who is ready to make a scene comes out.

What do you want to do in that situation? Have the police who normally have the Motel 6 staked out come and check out the scene? Maybe have hotel security come and ask you what you're doing there? Or worse, deal with two girls who start alleging sexual assault?

Nothing you can do in that situation that has a happy ending. You have to just lick your wounds and walk.

I haven't been ripped off too often, but I have been ripped off more than once. It is infuriating, and you often want payback. But again, you can't do that. You just have to lick your wounds and roll with the punches.

If it's any solace, I typically remind myself that any girls running that kind of a scam must have some seriously fucked up lives. A lot worse than the life I live, that's for sure. And that allows my anger and frustration to turn more to pity. Really, these really are pitiful people.

I've never been ripped off disappointed yes but never robbed I go with my gut I pay attention to my surroundings and always check the bathroom if it has a connecting room I lock that door as well if they are opposed to that I'm out

Would you seriously watch some steal something and not say anything about it? People need to speak up to save others. Not everyone reads TERB. Less time their ad is up and less chance of being able to book a hotel means less men being robbed.
