Actually, it would be insanely illegal. The list of charges that would follow if they reported/recorded that would be insane. Ranging from RCMP engagement, to forcibly confinement, sexual assualt under duress and about another dozen charges that would be almost impossible to defend against.
Using it to get out of a situation, one thing. Still stupid, but probably get you out. Beyond that, so stupid you'd become a legend of what never to do. You think the news article on John's caught in their sting operations would be wild wait until those charges came up.
