Well, I said in the thread about Avg. Joe Hawaii that I've never been more disappointed in the ending of a "reality" TV show, but I was wrong. This one really sucks! Adam is just as stupid as Malena and Larissa. He met some wonderful girls on this show and he picked the worst one. His parents were right on! Rachel was perfect and she was meant for him. If I was Adam's age, I would be in heaven if a girl like Rachel wanted me. Malena, Larissa and now Adam all went for physical attraction over what's real and more important, and more lasting. I felt so bad for Adam (and Brian) at the end of their shows but Adam just couldn't see that all of the other girls obviously feel more strongly about him emotionally than Samantha does. They are both just physically attracted to each other and there's obviously nothing else there. I still get the feeling that Brian would make the "right" choice, but then again, I'm beginning to think no one would on this show. Thank god there won't be any more Average Joe's. Well, at least I think the "Bachelors" have all made the right choice (except BOB), although it seems the relationships haven't lasted once the show is over.

I would have picked Rachel too, but Adam is typical of America's average Joe, & his version of love is physical & shallow, & that is why the relationship seldom lasts.
Adam is typical of most everybody (male & female) not just America's average Joe; in spite of what they say and profess, the sex appeal and glamour is the pull and not the personality. I only watched the one show but I knew Sam was getting the nod all the way.
Even though Rachel was fairly cute with a great body, she was way too nice and sweet and exuded no pent-up raw sexuality. All I could think of was Walt Disney and children's stories when I saw her. Any smart guy with a pulse would have gone for Sam.

Sometimes we just can't judge a book by it's cover. A gal, such as Rachel, may look relatively less exciting , but still holds a chance of being a great one in bed. I don't blame Adam for choosing the glam'er looking Sam, obviously he is just a little boy at heart and looking for something fun more than anything serious.
Rachel seemed to be very genuine. I hope she will find someone more deserving and mature in future.

At the end of the Average Joes, the two remaining choices always seem so contrived, like last night's finale: choose the glam New Yorker or the pretty breeder. Rachel deserves the best, but thankfully, I don't think she has the chutzpah to star in her own show. However, like everyone else who wasn't picked at the end, I'm sure she'll be inundated with offers from the opposite sex.

Yeah, if you wanted a very short passionate fling, but not a lifetime love. Adam is just another shallow guy whereas Rachel is genuine and can see the "real" things in life. Any guy would be a winner with her and she deserves much better than Adam. Her comments regarding Adam while in the bus at the end were so true! If I was a lot younger, I'd be trying to contact her!

the last two average Joes really sucked.. great premise for a show.. and the early episodes were all great.. but the final episode of the last two both were brutal... That Fabio thing in the last Average Joe was a joke.. and then this last guy picks the wrong girl .. twice now.. it's time for someone to get it right..
how does one get in touch with that 24 year old teacher? .. she's smart, and really pretty..... his parents were right.. she was definitely the one....
