Nice! I'll go ya one better: Two and half hours of blue hippie aliens with pituitary issues, doing Vulcan mind melds with everything on the planet via their ponytails which everything just happens to have. Chock full of subversive racism and stereotypes (Cameron apparently felt his stupid cartoon was a great medium to fix all of mankind's issues with each other) with no identifiable story line, Avatar just makes light of the issues it's trying bring attention to. I'm glad James is experimenting and having fun in his old age but did we really need a two hour play by play of his first ecstasy hallucination? Like the last three Star Wars movies, this was just an exercise in tech with no real merit as a film or movie. The fact that people are falling all over themselves about it is truly a sad reflection on the state of humanity. I'm gonna go watch Spaceballs.Dances with Wolves in Space, a computer graphics show in 3d with zero originality, boring stereotype characters and a lousy script, that managed to make zillions of dollars, the end is near folks
I finally saw the movie...on blu ray, not the 3d version....and it doesn't live up to the hype...maybe if i saw it in 3d i'd like it a little more...but the story was very predictable...

Couldn't bring myself to buy it knowing there will be at least one more version released if not more and knowing that the 3D Imax experience (really what made it worthwhile) would not be matched by watching it at home. I downloaded a BR rip instead.
