I'm afraid to tell you it is most likely fake. I fell for one of these and almost bought "her" digital art as deposit. She was Russian. Had a website and a great story about buying her art to support her career.

As well she's trying to get you to pay in full early for all the freebies... because you will never meet...
And listing says she's in Kelowna with an Ottawa area code but from Australia?
Who delayed the meet up? I bet it was "her". I hope for your sake I'm wrong but I've seen this rodeo before!

Seems it could be a scam. I had an experience with an Australian SP who asked for a 50% deposit ($250) sent via payment for digital work rather than e-transfer, framing it as a secure alternative/privacy etc…She had a website, Twitter and sounded legit, so I sent it. she even encouraged paying the full donations via digital work in exchange for extras.
We set a date, but the next day she canceled (got her periods) said my deposit was safe for a future booking, and promised to reschedule. She never did. I later noticed she had listings in multiple cities - red flag I should have known. Now her ads are gone and she doesn’t respond.

Just wanted to share so you can be careful.

So quick question about digital art work.
So she can create an art work. But then she can copy the file multiple times and resale the same art work and file.
How is that a benefit to the buyer(s). And you have to print it yourself to be on the wall.

Am I wrong in my guess?

If the artwork exists you’re assuming that it has value and that it is big enough to put on a wall :)

‘She‘ is advertising in London with a new website and phone number but now it is e-books instead of art.

Be on alert, brothers, especially with SPs asking for a deposit like this. There are a lot of scams going around. Losing $250 hurt, sure, but honestly, the fact that someone scammed me made it sting way worse.

Scam Alert: I can confirm that this person is the same one who scammed me. I tracked her down posing as a customer. The website has since been taken down, which matches the pattern of her fraudulent operation. Please be careful
