I have been only able to find one source that puts the pricing anywhere between 29-50k US. That's a big margin.

So questions:

1. From the autophile's point of view - G35 or the A5 coupe? Feel free to opine.
2. What's this fully loaded, auto shift A5 going to cost? I did the G35's pricing with the premium pkg. on Carsdirect.com that works out to be 35k US, fully loaded.
3. Briefly heard that German cars had electric problems that were a significant dent on the wallet to get fixed. Has this improved any?

I've gone to an Audi dealer inquiring about the A5 and salesman told me it would be in the high 50's, he said it was to compete with the BMW 335, but the 335 starts around 48 or 49 thousand so I don't know what he was talking about. The new G35 is actually going to be called the G37 and I'm sure it will be in the high 40's just like the old G35. I have a German car (from another make) and haven't had any electrical problems and the car has over 100 thousand km's.

VAG (Volkswagen Auto Group) still has electrical issues. I know too many people with new Audis and VWs that have random electrical gremlins.

If I had to choose, and I recently did, I would go with the Infiniti. The new G35 has an amazing interior.

Just to clarify, the numbers I'm using are in USD. Are you using the same currency?

The new G35 (called the G37 now, i believe), looks to sedanish. That's the coupe btw.

Yes the prices that were quoted me are in Canadian dollars. The G35 is the sedan but when the coupe version comes out later in the year it will be called the G37, it will have a slightly larger engine with 330 HP.

@ home of course. Jeesh!
The G35 is the much deal!!!
The Audi will seem nice for the first 3 years or so, but two things are certain after that:

1) It will have problems after the 3rd year
2) It will cost much $$$ to repair

The Infinity is by far the more reliable vehicle.
Rosie even know of someone who's house burned down after parking his Audi in his garage.

Rosie's co-worker has bought a new A6 2 year ago.
She's not too happy with it and is thinking about getting something else.
A bud of Rosie's has the G35 and LOVES it!!!
Rosie's seriously considering getting one within the next 2 years.
