Hi , I would like if any one could give me info on sp's or mp's in the Atlanta area. I did a search and came up with a few posts, but wanted to know if there is any more info out there. Also, do mpa's give about the same service as here in the GTA? I know I have not posted reviews before, but i would be very greatful for any info at this time. Thank you.

Here
Atlanta!

My hometown... you will be disappointed by the comparisons to Toronto, both in terms of service level and cost. There are no such thing as MPs here, unless you count the Asian parlors, which themselves are thinly disguised full service incalls.

The MP equivalent are girls who work incall from their apartments, either 30 or 60 minute appointments, massage and release will run you US$120-150 for a half hour, and $160-$200 for a full hour. Typically only 1 SOG, no oral or full service, DFK and DATY are rare.

Best source of information is TER (www.theeroticreview.com).

PM if you want specific info that no one else cares about. LOL

Why doesn't the USA have MPs? The demand is obviously there, look how many Americans post here about coming to Toronto.

The place to go in Atlanta is the Buckhead area . Tons of Strip clubs and MP's. Bring your cash, spent $300 US in a MP a couple
months ago. They have a monthly magazine just for Strip club and MP goers. I come to GTA b/c there are tons of things to do, and I like helping out the economy.

Here
Um.... no

Buckhead is good for bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Period. There are is not one single strip club or MP there.

The availability of MPs is governed by the same sort of legal inconsistencies you find in Toronto. Why do certain cities only allow a NR as opposed to a BS? Why do hours differ from city to city?

Toronto is more permissive, and at least with outcall SPs, some sexual behaviors are actually legal. Not so in the USA. MPs exist but are rare, you are more likely to find independent girls who work out of their apartments (but comparable in quality to IT or HFH in looks).

Having said that, do your research on TBD or TER, pick up the local free magazines at a strip club when you get to town, but do not use the yellow pages (scams).

Well, that's not really true since you find MPs all across Canada, not just in Toronto. As far as the legalities go, anything sexual that goes on in these places in technically illegal, that's why you hear about police raiding/inspecting them all the time. The USA certainly isn't a country that is free of crime, so even if it is a crime there, I don't understand why the demand isn't met.

Right Behind You
US

I've thought about this quite a bit (MP's in the US) and I honestly can't figure it out.

Here's the facts:

In any US city, you'll pay twice what you'll pay in Toronto. Additionally, the 'extras' you get in Toronto aren't even available most of the time in the US. If they are, expect to fork over SERIOUS cash for it.

The attitude is terrible, too. It's extremely rare to find a girl who really cares about how much you enjoyed your time - most of them offer a in-and-out, thanks-a-lot, move-over-cause-the-next-guy's-here type service. Very unappealing overall.

You're right - the demand is there, but the supply is not. I can't believe that LE is a major problem over here. It doesn't matter whether you are in the US or Canada, exchanging sex for money is illegal. Yet it goes on all the time in Canada, and I'm stuck waiting in line at customs when I feel the urge.

When somebody figures it out, please PM me. :)

Actually, exchanging sex for money IS legal in Canada. What is against the law is communicating for the purposes, living off the avails, or being found in a bawdy house. This leaves loopholes open that don't exist in the U.S. For example outcalls are legal as long as the communication is not done in public whereas incalls run the risk of bawdy house charges. Rub & Tub MPs (Are there any other kind? - LOL) are tolerated. I guess it could be argued that a HJ is just a penis massage. The municipal bylaws seem to imply this when they say a body rub parlour involves the massage of ANY part of the body.

I really think we need a sticky devoted to legal issues surrounding the sex industry...the same topics come up over and over again and the same incorrect information or in most cases half correct information gets disseminated over and over again. I nominate Sasha as sole moderator of such a thread.

For our American brethern...please do not assume that whatever the law is in the US it must be the same in Canada (ie "wherever you go sex for money is illegal"). Not only is it incorrect it is slightly insulting.

Without rehashing all the info that is readily available on other threads I will point out that what HJs, "releases", etc. are not legally permissible in a MP. HJs are still (likely) considered an "indecent act" - although the law keeps changing. If a place is kept for the purpose of allowing "indecent acts" it is a bawdy house. Therefore even though it is pretty much known that a "massage" involves a release that does not make it "legal" - the better word that was used is "tolerated". MPs seem not to be "tolerated" when things move too far beyond just HJs.

Why are MPs tolerated in Canada? I always assumed it is because we are generally more liberal in our views about sex than those groups that seem to have a powerful political presence in the US (eg. religous right, etc.). Our laws regarding nudity in SCs, prostitution and pornography are all more liberal than US laws and it reflects our attitude as a country.

Regardless of how the majority of Americans actually feel (and I don't suggest I have any idea how the majority of Americans feel) it seems that American politics are still strongly influenced by conservative views towards sex and the sex industry and this is reflected both in the laws and in the areas LE chose to focus on.

Also, as I said, its not like we have the same laws. I dont know what the American laws re MPS are but it would be quite easy to word a law that would make it impossible to operate one. The laws might make nudity illegal or define "indecent acts" more strictly or simply outlaw massages not provided by some sort of registered health professional.

You should check out www.aspd.net as they've got stuff for several US cities.

USA
MP and Mafia

Yes, in the US conservative politics is a large guiding force in the constant sweeps against MP's and SP's. Independent SP's tend to be left alone for the most part as long as they stay descreit. SP agencies can also get by unnoticed if they descreit.
The problem comes in when an agency or independent gets too noticable. Thats what brought Heidi Fliess (or however you spell her name) down in the LA area, she flaunted it.
MP's in the US on the other hand have other problems. The best MP's in the US tend to be asian places, but they tend to employ illegals. Trafficing in illegals is a taken very serious by the Feds. MP's in the US, though not all, tend to be caught up in some sort of organized crime or gang. Thus once the Feds start following a mob or gang's money trail it often leads them to MP's.
