So far I've been there 10 times in the last 5 years so I know it fairly well. Prices, where to go, what to do...can give you some pointers. Generally you're looking at $50 to $100 per shot, with a whole range of latina chicks (ie white like Cameron Diaz to charcoal black)

To do this, you have to stay in a local B & B ($35 a night) - not a state run hotel, since the bribe would cost you another $50.

Cubanas love to fuck (it's like the national sport) and they start early. I've had some that just rocked my world and got me hooked on latinas. The BBBJs are always awesome. Some were duds though, but that's typical of the industry. Most times these girls are not hard core and only just dabble in it on the side.

Overall though...I'd rate Cuba behind Brazil, Thailand, Philippines and Colombia. About tied with Dominican Republic. Pluses: great girls, awesome place to visit if you like architecture and history, great cigars, awesome party scene, great beaches, easy to get there. Negatives: police enforcement, expensive compared to Thailand or Colombia, lousy food, poor internet access.

As for what to expect...check this out...she'd be $60 for a single shot...they all can shake it like that

Hygiene: for the most part, I've found all the cubanas I've met to have flawless hygiene. They smell fresh, and yeah, are shaved too. Actually come to think of it, I've never been in a messy or dirty cuban home. They're real sticklers for cleanliness - they may be bare-ass poor but they got their pride.

As far as Spanish, I did have to learn some, but that's only to get a better response from the chicas...because English outside of the hotels is extremely rare. It's actually hilarious how they expect you to understand them. The universal language is $$$.

B&B: the best place I can recommend is my buddy Henry, who I always stay with. He has a nice house in a quiet part of town and he can also arrange an airport pickup as well. Just PM me, that's the best way to reach him.

The most important things I have to tell you about Cuba are:

1) Police enforcement - on some random occassion, the police may just decide to crack down on the discos and just shove every girl into military truck for "counter-revolutionary" activities. What this means = no pussy for you. Happened to me on 2 trips and it sucked. The girls were terrified of being spotted with a tourist like me.

2) If you're black...I hate to say it, but you're going to get a rough reception in Cuba. Blacks are second class in Cuba and you'll instantly feel it. Avoid Cuba if you're black.

3) Never ever ever drive. The signs are crap but the worst thing is if you accidentally kill a Cuban. See the Cuba travel advisory page of the department of foreign affairs and you'll see what I mean.

4) Don't bring any american-associated debit cards or credit cards to Cuba because they won't work. So leave your citibank card and capital one card at home because they won't work. Don't bring too much cash either - just use cash advances from your credit card.

5) Bring a suitcase that locks up tight - either with a combination or key. The chicas are dirt poor (remember - $20 a month salary) and have no reserves about stealing from you.

6) Never buy cigars from guys on the street. They're crap, rolled with inferior tabacco (if you're lucky) and won't burn right. You'll end up with a pounding migraine and a cigar that's only burning on the right side.

Getting girls in Cuba: basically the only scene is the disco scene. Some guys have claimed pickups on the malecon - which is the seaside promenade that hugs the old city, but that's always been a dud for me. Before you leave your casa, always take their calling cards so you can get home by just showing it to the taxi driver.

How the disco scene works:

1) Go to the popular places: Casa de Musica, Rio Club, El Chevere, Club Sophia, the disco at Habana Libre Hotel, Rosalita de Castro. I've found the best looking girls to be at Club Rio or at Casa de Musica. If you like the darker types, then Rosalita de Castro is your venue.

2) Best time to go is around 10.30 - 11.

3) Hang around outside to check out the crowd going in. It's even possible to pick up from the girls waiting to go in

4) Go in, and order a drink.

5) Within 5 minutes, I guarantee you - some girl will approach you - Cubanas are actually quite aggressive. They'll start dancing with you, or grinding up with you.

6) If you don't like her, just shake your head and move away. If you do like her, then start going along. Cop a feel, make her laugh, buy her a drink, dance a bit, etc.

7) I've had girls who range from 5-9 approach me this way. One of whom even looked like Lindsay Lohan - the latin version. Man that was unforgettable. One thing you have to watch for is: gold jewellry and a cellphone. If she has one or the other, or both, then she's the hardcore type (meaning it's her full time job)...and will be gone after the deed is done. Not much of a GFE.

8) Settle on a price then leave. They always start with a $100 (cien) price but never pay more than $60 for a disco girl. These are all 1 shot prices. If she likes you, then it's all night. Mind you - a doctor in Cuba makes $50 a month. A street cleaner around $10 a month. $60 is a princely sum for one shot.

9) Always pay after. Or just as a show of good faith, lay the money out but don't pay her. Remember, in Cuba, the man is in charge.

10) If you like her, get her phone number and take her again the next day.
Useful words (just pronounce it as you see it below)

All night - todah lah nochay
2 hours - dos Orah
Beautiful - lindah/bonitah
BBBJ - chupar sin condon
50 - cinquentah
60 - sesentah
70 - setentah
80 - ochentah
90 - noventah
100 - cien

Hola Amigo!

I too am a Cuban addict and had a great connection in Havana. Problem is that I referred ONE guy from Terb to him and the guy got into a dispute with a chica. The chica went to the police and the cops made an example of my connection.

He is STILL in jail (3 years now) and his house was torn apart, his pool filled in and his money ALL taken.

I'd take down your friend's number for a couple reasons.

1. If Cuban intelligence ever see this web page and he really is the guy you say, they will take him straight to jail.

2. You don't know who is an asshole or not here on TERB so it is not worth putting your friend at risk. I'm not saying anyone IS an asshole bu this is a public place with a wide open public presence. There are stalkers and weirdos all around. Not cool to post this guy's number and exp[ose him to that risk.

Anyways, what is the atmosphere like in Havana right now in terms of hooking up without the girls being afraid. I've not been back in two years.
Sorry to hear about your amigo. I don't know what he did wrong to deserve that unless he was operating a casa illegally. I don't know why they'd take my buddy to jail since he has a license to operate and has been operating for 3 years already. But for safety's sake, I've taken his # off the page.

Bona fide terb members (i.e. those who have posted actual reports for the last year or so) can PM me for his info.

I went in December of last year and it was freakin' awesome. The action only happens at night though.

A well known site for B&Bs (called casa particulars):

http://www.casaparticular.info/

Generally the casas in Miramar are nicer but they're helluva far from the action. Casas in the historic center are a bit rundown. The casas in Vedado always offer the best combination of value and location. Try to get one close to the Habana Libre since that is the only place with publicly available internet access.

Always get one with a private entrance - I think casa owners are obliged by law to register the girls but they can't register them if they don't see them...

I Love to boose on the beach!
I don't know about rimming so can't say for sure. $20 us - that's 1995 prices - I don't know if that's still possible...maybe if you look like Luis Miguel and can charm her pants off.

Aside from the local sightseeing - Havana is actually quite a place to visit - you can go out of town to Playa Santa Maria (check flikr.com for pictures) or arrange a daytrip to Vinales, (scenic cigar growing region) through the Habana Libre Hotel.

Things to buy: cigars (the Montecristo #2 is fantastic) and rum. Handicrafts if you're so inclined.

Things to bring: fancy soap like Dove, Crest toothpaste, french truffles - these are impossible to get in Cuba. Don't bring your laptop or DVDs or you'll get dinged with a tax.

Best time to go is from November to April. It gets a little warm from May to October plus the chances of a hurricane are also higher.

Restaurants: usually I just get the casa owners to cook me meals but you can't go wrong with Al Aljibe, Tien Tan in chinatown, La Guarida, Gringo Viejo, Los Tres Mostquetteres and the restaurants in the major hotels. My favorite (but expensive) restaurant is La Guarida. On a daily basis, Tien Tan is actually pretty good...hey it's good enough for the chinese ambassador so you know it's good.

Food that's offered in other establishments tend to be over priced and poor in quality though.

Thanks for the thread, I have been thinking of visiting.

I would be going to Cuba for the first time and likely on my own.

Anything to recommend to a complete newbie???

Leave your political correctness on the plane.

In Cuba, you don't have to apologize for being a man. It's a latin culture so the man is still the boss. The girls work for you - you don't have to work for them. That's the single most amazing thing that I love about Cuba.

In Cuba, you're the rock star. Girls see you in the club and they'll come to you. Enjoy it, savor it, remember it.

That's anybody's guess. I think the next few months will be interesting for Cuba as underground forces may start to make themselves more noticed. His successor, Raoul, has promised some liberalization of the economy but said nothing about the police-state control apparatus.

A bit of background: when the Soviet Union cracked and withdrew its support, Cuba went into freefall. It was wide open and for 4-5 years, the girl scene was out of this world. You could get laid every hour of the day in exchange for a tube of toothpaste.

But, stung by criticsm, Fidel cracked down and sent a whole bunch of girls to prison.
