what are you listening to lately.

the past couple of weeks or so I've been mostly listening to ...

Nothing Like the Sun - Sting
(never really fully apreciated string before)

The Fragile - Nine Inch Nails

Up - Peter Gabriel
Passion: Music For The Last Temptation Of Christ - Peter Gabriel
(rediscovering someone who I never really apreciated since Genesis)

Now, isn't this exciting.

In the laboratory.
If that music were my alternative, I'd stick with the voices in my head!

heheh

I think the idea is it reflects the voices in my head. Isn't that metaphorically what music does ?

anyway, you're avoiding the question.

whats in my disc player...

really been digging this disc, "hot fuss", by the killers. they have a retro 80's feel to them.

as well, a new canadian band, jakalope, great disc! trent reznor of NIN fame has been backing her.

and last but not least, three days grace, a real rocking cd! good canadian boys to boot.

I've gotten into reggae lately. I'm listening to a lot of compilations of reggae and Caribbean music.

A lot of Brazilian pop bossa nova. They cure stress in a fresh wonderful way.

Fernanda Abreu's SAMBA e AMOR is prime.
( from the compilation - UM BARZINHO UM VIOLAO ) ...

... Bossa Nova unplugged..
