Has anybody used this service? I registered, paid for some credits & have had a helluva time getting the local ladies to bite. I've even been nice....

I did get some private showcase access, but no responses after that. I am assuming that they are afraid to be found out, since it is a service for discreet encounters....

I have used it with moderate luck. Mostly in the GTA and I often go there for work so it works out.

I've met with a single girl in Windsor, early 20s, sexy, had allot of fun and I am meeting one in Niagara Falls next week while I am there for work.

It seems to be really hit and miss and more misses that hits. Most of the Showcases I have seen are either to good to be true or nasty.
I noticed a few Showcases with pictures of women from porn sites. ie. Heidi in Montreal has pics of the girl from sexyheidi.com in her Showcase.

There doesn't seem to be much in Ottawa at all.

Tried them last year. Same experience as XSOFSX.
For Ottawa it's a rip off.
For meeting MILF's online, you're better off using lavalife. More women and a lot less expensive.
Even with the Toronto women, you'll have to invest a lot of time and money with this service before you'll get a face-to-face. You'd have better luck going to a bar and invest in dinner and drinks than using Ashley Madison.

I gotta say, it is a lot of work getting responses on the Ashleymadison site. The guy:chick ratio is about 15:1, so they can be very selective. You'll need to buy credits and chat for a while before even meeting for coffee. But I have to say, I met three great women on the site (all married), and had great affairs with two of them. We're all still on good terms.

Not worth it

My Ashley Madison experience has set me back $225 with one phone call chat, which led to a planned meeting, which ended in her bailing and deciding not to cheat. I also had one face-to-face with a woman 18 years my senior that last all of 5 minutes (my choice).

In other words, it's not worth the hassle. There are much better avenues out there. I used to use CasualKiss - at the time it was free but I thought they started charging (maybe they've gone back to free - I'm not sure). I've met a few great girls from there. It's far superior to AM.

These pay sites demand alot of your time and money since you never know which ads are legit and which are not.

Ashley Madinson attributes the start of their service to the fact that over a third of people who typically join dating sites and/or chat online are actually attached and are looking to cheat on their mate.

Ditto on the previous experience. Didn't get in too deep with the coin on the chat part as I don't really like chatting...waste of time and especially money on AM. Used my credits on trying to connect.....successfull or not depending on your perspective. Two of them barked when we met..ran like hell, while the third wasn't too bad but I got cold feet....better out there and I kind of got the impression she was after more than a short term fling....trouble.

As for winks, they are always from someone who just wants cyber and of course, they are only a guest member and always want you to spend your nickle. "NOT"

There are better, free sites out there that can get you some cyber, if that's what you are in to. I've had phone numbers dropped on me as well, but till now they've always been too far away.

If you spent some time at it I'm sure you can get lucky for free.

As for AM, I still have an account and cruise the odd time but don't spend any hard earned cash.

Funny, I find the complete opposite than what you guys are saying. Met some very nice women in the last 12 months. Maybe its your appraoch.

As for credits, if the woman is at all interested in your chat, you usually know within 5 minutes they generally agree to switch to MSN and that is free.

I think that the amount of time you spend trying to get if for free has got to be worth something. I can't see that "seeing" two women over 12 months qualifies as great luck. Sounds like being married to me...

Had some modest luck myself...

Have been on Ashley Madison for about a year now. It can be a very frustrating experience, however, I have found that being frank about what you are looking for is helpful.

I have met 3 different girls from AM in person. Had a good time with each, and no problems afterwards.

There seems to be a lot of frustrated, neglected and downright bored housewives out there just want some attention.

Not a sure thing, but when it clicks it clicks well.

All total, spent about $400 on AM and have had over 10 encounters. So I figure I am ahead of the game.

Positive response here too...

I figure since I've hooked up with three great women (and about five dates that went nowhere, admittedly) and have spent about $250 on the site, I'm doing okay and also am ahead. Anyway. Don't want to sound like I'm shilling for the site. It has serious flaws too, all mentioned here. Just interested in others' experiences.
