Wife is the prime suspect, must have hit him over the head, then strangled him.

She's just been arrested, the wives and gf's are taking it to the athletes this week.

Anybody could have used that purse. Maybe an intruder saw the purse and used that as a weapon of convenience. The murder victim was a former world boxing champion and only 38 years and a woman (just how big is his wife?) strangled him with her own hands using a purse?

Just saw a very short clip of his wife on TV. She is a tiny thing. Hard to believe that she could physically overpower a former world boxing champion who at 38 is not exactly a feeble old man.

Gatti's family I believe is closely associated with the Mafia. Its not that unreasonable to imagine a scenario involving a bribe being paid to Brazil authorites for an innocent party to get charged.

Since we are all speculating try this one on for size. They fight. He gets hammered and passes out. She hits him on the head with some object and renders him unconscious. Then strangles him with the purse strap.

No mafia. No conspiracies. No coverup or corruption. Just a woman's pent up rage. Gee, sound familiar.
