That play will rank right up there with Franco Harris' catch and Ben Roth's open field tackle in Steelers lore. Curt Warner might have lost his shot at the HOF.
One guy who I expected to have a big game did not. DRC had a good first half had a couple of pass defenses but on that drive where PITT got the GW score by Holmes, Holmes continually was beating DRC on that drive.
With the way Dockett and Fitz and Okeafor were playing in that 2nd half it looked like Zona was gonna pull it out but it wasnt meant to be. Wow, Dockett was just balling in that 2nd half, he was making plays in the Steelers backfield all half long. Without him they dont even make the comeback that they did. Cards defense played well, they had the two goal-line stands limiting the Steelers to FGs on two redzone trips and also withstood the ADrian Wilson personal foul penalty. Certainly, penalties hurt the Cards in this game, particularly Mike Gandy. Also the Reed FG for the first points of the 2nd half was on a drive where Zona had 3 personal foul penalties. Of course the pick-6 by Harrison was huge as well. Great play-call by Lebeau, great disguise, he faked like he was gonna bring pressure and then dropped into pass-coverage.
