'loosing'?
That means:

. Not fastened, restrained, or contained: loose bricks.
2. Not taut, fixed, or rigid: a loose anchor line; a loose chair leg.
3. Free from confinement or imprisonment; unfettered: criminals loose in the neighborhood; dogs that are loose on the streets.
4. Not tight-fitting or tightly fitted: loose shoes.
5. Not bound, bundled, stapled, or gathered together: loose papers.
6. Not compact or dense in arrangement or structure: loose gravel.
7. Lacking a sense of restraint or responsibility; idle: loose talk.
8. Not formal; relaxed: a loose atmosphere at the club.
9. Lacking conventional moral restraint in sexual behavior.
10. Not literal or exact: a loose translation.
11. Characterized by a free movement of fluids in the body: a loose cough; loose bowels.
adv.

What in heaven's name does that have to do with Alzheimer's?

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a woman/man who claims to have completed medical school yet chose to not complete her final examinations.

- "Alzheimer", not "Alzheimers, Alzheimer's, or Alzheimer's Disease", but "Alzheimer", and typed twice (so his inevitable 'typo' argument falls flat already).

- "... are showing that is..."

- "...loosing..." not "... losing..."

I don't really care, but rather, am simply pointing out the recurrent inconsistencies in the drunk ramblings of a sad and lonely man.

ps, the sad and lonely man is Mr. Loki. I am neither, and am merely mildly tipsy at the moment, having just had dinner with co-workers who are in town from out West. Burp.

that is a picture from all over the internet and is associated with several other things including "if you can read this you should go outside more" or "if you can read this you never have sex" or "if you can read this you are a nerd" and so on with countless joking things. anyone that takes this serious is dumb.

Oh grow up Simon. What do you prefer> Dr Oz? TYM? Sage? Mini-Cog?

In order to be able to read that type of jumbled letters your mind has to have more flexibility than the average.

Only about 50% of North Americans whose mother tongue is English can read it.

The fact that it has spread across the internet does not prove it does not exist.

From my point of view the fact that about 50% can read it proves that strict adherence to spellin is silly

:)

it has nothing to do with science or Alzheimers or spelling. it is a foolish and stupid thing that has been given countless different names. if you can read it you were born in the text generation is another variation of it.

your science study even has it's own tshirt http://www.redbubble.com/people/say...ad-this-you-really-need-to-get-laid?p=t-shirt

it has nothing to do with science. if you think this is real and will affect your alzheimers you are dumb.

Wow, you, uh, sure got me good there, mister.

ps. I understood. Everyone who read it understood the meaning of your post. We also recognized that it was written by someone who is neither well-educated nor well-spoken. I guess that point is lost on you; that its not about the meaning of the post, but rather is about the irony of your educational claims being consistently refuted by your awful writing skills (which doesn't matter WRT our interactions with the normal people on TERB, but we recognize that its funny when someone who claims to be a Doctor (minus those final exams which he/she chose to skip), can't write to a secondary level let alone an undergrad level). Is that a run-on sentence? I think it may be.

Maybe the typing errors are from shaky hands. She could have Parkinson.

Hey you should see my handwriting.

Sorry hun,

I cannot conceive of any reason to bother being careful or slowing down my typing or proof reading on a internet forum where my words will never be linked to me.

If you are so anally fixated to think that just because I have spent time at university I am compelled to care about spelling?

Hun, spelling is for administrative assistants and lawyers. LOL
