You can start out deeply in love and sexually compatible, but after years of living together all of the crap starts to overwhelm the good things you started out with. Pretty soon, somewhere around year 5 or 6, you start having trouble even being aroused by your spouse because every single conversation is a reminder or the things that aren't working or the resentments from unaccomplished goals.
