WTF this week has been a total joke. Last Wednesday I found out my backyard was flooded with 2 inches of water, phoned the bylaw told them to come right away yeah right. Phoned the police yes they did show up and I just wanted them as a witness. It seems the international student hotel that is beside me decided to top up there pool. They left the water running for three days straight, it got to the point where the region of Peel came in and shut the water off, after all they can go into their backyard and shut the water off that would be trespassing yes. So the water slowly disappears and I’m just wondering what damages a going to be with the chemicals in the pool water I don’t know never owned a pool. Went to a lawyer Friday and found out that I’m up Schutz Creek. Yes I can sue them for damages, if ruled in my favour I could put a claim against them, is not guaranteed if I get paid. Second option build a retaining wall out of my own money no not going to happen. Then this morning a knock on the door, I go out and there’s somebody there demanding that I pay half the water bill told her to go fark herself. Can someone do the math standard 5/8 garden hose let’s 1068 gallons of water flow per hour times that by 72 hours let’s rounded out that would be 72,000 gallons of water. Gives me good feeling that they learned something if you’re going to do something monitor it if not pay for it. Would anybody like to guess how much that would cost?

@The Mechanic .. you should have acted all nice and gotten all her info and a copy of the water bill. Gather as much info as possible. Then told her you will call her later. Then sued her.

One of the girls that rent there (total of 6 2 females and 4 males) Owner of the house dose not live there. And why? I can only guess, they water my backyard out of the kindness of there hearts? Or could it be the bill I guess for this fill up is equally to 1200 dollars plus what ever water they use for cooking washing etc etc.
As stated yes I could sue them, how does one get water from a stone? There is a landlord from Hamilton who is now living in her car due to the fact tenants will not move out even with a judgement against.And as for fuck her I do have standards.

I can’t imagine why someone should think that you should pay part of the water bill. Either they are fucking idiots, or there is more to the story.
As for the worry about damage from the pool water, I wouldn’t worry about it. A) it’s pretty harmless to your lawn and B) it would be significantly diluted as the overflow was caused by water out of a hose. Not directly out of the pool.

I can only speculate why someone asks someone else to pay the bill, they can’t afford it and they look at it as they watered the grass for you? Since these are international students, money might be tight? And like I stated before what would the landlord do if automatically the region of Peel gives you a water bill like that? Now I have a question for you and the form members, I have three of these houses close by why is it that when they move in and when they move out it’s done from 11 PM to 3 in the morning always under darkness. I have my own thoughts on this. As for don’t worry about the water I don’t know what they put into it, and I have enough chemicals in me to worry about.
