The Latin American countries seem to take it WAY to serious almost like a Religion IMHO. Suicide over a game! I'm all for National pride but to kill yourself!

Futbol.

It ties into Culture, Religion, Society and National History.

Moreso anywhere else other than North America since that is the youngest continent on the planet with the least amount of history.

To lose your life over a game of futbol is absurd and tragic.

People have also died for less. Go figure!

I'm disappointed that it wasn't more of a shit show in Brazil. I was hoping for mass rioting and violence.

Personally I was hoping that someone in the crowd might have got one good shot off at Putin, right in the forehead

I'm disappointed with how it ended. The semifinals and final were not nearly as enjoyable to watch as the prior matches. Overall a great world cup though. Most goals all time and a few amazing ones.
