Are "indys" indys?

I am unclear if this is a permissable topic for the Lounge, as it involves a question relating to advertisers on this Board.

Like many others, Iam sure, I have several overriding concerns about providers I might visit. I dont want there to be a scintilla of doubt that they are of legal age. And I do not want to encounter any hint that they might be being pimped.

My current favourite escort (and she is quite wonderful) advertises as an independent escort. She was recommended to me by another provider who I cared for and trusted and who was leaving to return overseas. What's a little odd is my new girl's ads are often posted within a few minutes of two other very similar ads featuring Asian girls apparently working in the same neighbourhood. For example, all three of them posted within three minutes today.

Put that together with the similarity in the ads and the fact that two of them request texts instead of phone contact and you might start to wonder... Are they truly "indys" or are the working for someone else.

reputed independents are real independents, some might share incall locations, or help each other in designing webpages, but AFAIK, there is no "secret pimp" out there

I think some of the girls hire someone to take care of the marketing, ads and answering the texts/calls. Those tasks are time consuming and it makes sense to hire someone to do them...

I always say call them, Do not text them. You could be texting the pimp.
