just under the radar
After a week of teaser, the crew went to Atlantic City to compete in bringing high rollers into Trumps Taj Mahal Casino.

Amy's team was giving away a cheezy $300 worth of car rentals, while Troy's boys used a $1000 cash prize to lure punters.

Amy did get higher amounts of applicants, but Troy , thanks to Bill who worked the VIPs to manage a dollar amount win.

In the board room, Amy let, as Trump coined Nick, her boyfriend off the hook and took the only other female, Katrina in to face Trump.

This was Amy's first defete, and wisely used her overall stats to get Katrina sent packing.

I'm still looking @ Amy and Nick to square off in the end, but there's still too many X factors to rule out anyone yet.

Make that 4

Troy finally fell off the tater truck last night.

Poor ol' country huckster routine can only get you so far. He made the mistake of taking Kwame back with him to the board room, as Bill's qualifications were much closer to his than his bud Kwame.

So who's on the chopping block next?

My guess is Kwame.

The preview said two will be fired next week in the first half-hour, so I guess the question is will it be the team of Amy and Nick or the team of Kwame and Bill. I think Bill and Kwame are the stronger two, but it depends on the test.

They also said she's baaaaaaaaack. Amorosa is featured in a typical Mark Burnett kind of twist. I bet the task will be to convince her that she really is a psycho prima donna b*tch.

I really think that the show is now rigged. The Donald is a compulsive womanizer (I guess all of us on this board is that too in some way - LOL) and I bet he has his sight on Amy to win. Who in their right mind would all of a sudden walk in and lease that space of Amy's (last night's show) with just minutes to go. The co-incidence is just too strong. I smell something really fishy.

Highly possible.

Remember the " who can rent the apartment for highest " episode ? after that show was aired, there was an article on Yahoo saying that indeed one of the last minute walk in potential " tenant " was anything but " reality " - if I recall correctly, she had already rented that particular unit prior to the show 's shooting, but reappeared again then that afternoon...

Good entertainment, yes...... but reality show? Not so real after all.

Looking forward to the SNL tomorrow night though.

Also, the winning prize was a flight to Florida on his private jet. He said, indirectly, no screwing in the bedroom. Gee, I wonder why he invisted the sister and father....to keep them apart of course. I bet anything, he's out to boik her. LOL.

Too bad for Troy. Out of all the competitors, I'd say that he is the hands-down best natural born salesman. He was directly responsible for leading his team to victory on several occasions, and I agreed with him that Kwame is a great team player, but ultimately does not show an ability to lead. Kwame is a collaborator, not a leader.

I didn't think Troy was a "live wire" or lose cannon. In the end, I think that his lack of post-secondary education made it extremely difficult for Donald to justify awarding the ultimate prize of CEO of a multi-million dollar corp to a high school graduate.

There is no doubt in my mind that Troy will be a successful, and extremely wealthy man with his ability.

Can't agree more.

Troy was annoying. I mean talk about suffering from the short guy complex.

People do well in business wihtout college degrees long as they know how to think outside of the box and don't think of it as a hinderance. I think Troy dwelled on his lack of a degree more than others and felt he needed to over compensate for lack of degree, when no one was making it an issue.

If the Donald really wanted to keep Amy to himself, he would not have given her a surprise windfall client to outbid the other team - he would let Amy and Nick lose so he could turf Nick out in the boardroom.

I think Troy's lack of a business degree did him in. Sure he's a smooth talker, but being a CEO requires a lot more than that.

On the other hand, I think Trump knew from the very beginning who he is going to hire. Or at least the top 3 candidates. A lot of the players are simply there for entertainment value.

I think Bill has a lock on the win now that Troy is out of the picture. Although, I don't know how well he and Kwame will work together as they are now competing against the other team and themselves. No one else to blame on a two person team.

The next show will see two people being fired, 1 in the first half hour if I'm not mistaken. I think Kwame will get the axe, but Bill will win the task, and Amy will get the axe in the second half.

The rumour I heard today was Amy and Nick did consummate their "romance" when they were down in Atlantic City. But once the show ended, that was that.

I like Amy, but has anyone else noticed that when they show little snippets of her in the morning or late at night when she is dressed down and has no make up that she looks horrible? Not a judgement, just an observation.

I liked Troy, but I thought it was very telling that scary Caroline's comment after he was fired was "He should be pleased to have made it this far". This suggests to me he had no chance from day 1. I think Bill is the strongest candidate left, followed by Amy.

Bill's a jerk. He's bound to shoot his mouth off one too many times. Did you catch his hooker comments at Atlantic City when he was protecting the VIP line?
