Appointment Etiquette

Questions for the gentlemen:

1- How would you feel if you booked an appointment with a lady and whilst in the appointment, decided to stay longer and weren't able to?

2- How would you feel if you showed up for your appointment on time, but the person before you decided to stay longer, therefore pushing your appointment to the backburner or causing it to be cancelled altogether?


Questions for the ladies:

1- If you had a gentleman visiting you who decided to stay longer, would you tell him yay or nay KNOWING that you have another appoinment coming?

2- How do you handle appointments that arrive late and then ask to stay longer, therefore bumping your next appointment(s) to a later time frame?

I usually book my appointments an hour to 1.5hrs apart, but am still running into problems. Any tips would be great.

IMHO

The SP must be able to say no to a client if the situation warrants it. If the person is late and wants to extend and there is no appointment that could be delayed, why not? If there is an appointment afterward that could infringe, then the SP is obligated to say no.

The same with extensions. If nothing is following, then great, but I don't see why the person who is already there should get preferential treatment and be able to bump someone else. Appointments are made in good faith, and we should always try to honor them.

Thanks for the input guys. I think my problem may have lied with the fact that I was trying to please EVERYONE (I might have a wee bit of a problem saying no)
