7.9 million iPhones sold, $9.87 billion in revenue, fourth-quarter earnings leap of more than 47% over same year.

Apple had their best quarter ever in the middle of the worst recession since the great depression.

Man, those laptop hunter ads and excellent yet free Linux distros are really showing Cupertino!

RIMM plunged, NOK plunged, next up is MSFT. I can't wait.

The IPhone is a piece of shit.
initial 1st gen was, maybe, alot of basic features missing. Since 3G and 3.0 O/S, it's awesome. My only complaint when I bought mine was no GMAIL push email. BUT now, GMAIL with real push has finally arrived, running on MS Exchange Server of all things too!

3GS was modest upgrade from 3G, which likely means alot of new "ideas" didn't get implemented on time. Watch for a killer iPhone next year.

Now if only we had competitive data plans in Canada as compared to the rest of the world.

Apple... our products make pussies wet!

Yes, and every super HOT Porno Hottie I have ever had the pleasure of umm "knowing" has used a Mac!

Should be an Apple slogan. Apple: our products make pussies wet...

Hmm maybe this is why their last 5 operating systems have been named after pussies!!!

Mac OS 10.2 Jaguar, Mac Os 10.3 Panther, Mac OS 10.4 Tiger, Mac OS 10.5 Leopard, Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard.

The Google syncing has given the iphone the features I've always wanted that my corporate blackberry had. Over the air, instantaneous syncing of email, contacts and calendar. I stopped using Outlook on my personal computer now. It's just great.

(Yes mobileme had this but it was a paid service)

The IPhone is a piece of shit.
Edmund's and PC Mag and Consumer Reports disagree ... and voted best overall in customer satisfaction ..... it has lots of short comings ...but fuck it has way too many apps available to make it functional.

Funny how gmail started using the push from Zimbra (exchange based) same as Yahoo ... but Yahoo actually even uses the Zimbra gui too.
I alreay talked to my telus rep and i have 15 dollar unlimited data plan on my BB that they told me, i could port to a iPhone after Nov 15th

Nice. I pay Rogers $30 for 6GB on top of regular phone plan. Very very expensive. THere's only one cheaper choice and it was $25/500MB, so I think the extra $5 was worth it.

I have my fingers crossed and hope they don't charge for tethering after the grace period coming this december.

Apple is clearly in the zone, they even have M$ opening stores to try and slow their growth.... wait for the tablet next year and sales will explode again.....
