Hap and Leonard, After Life, The Blacklist, Santa Clarita Diet (I like the campy humour), Dirk Gently Holistic Detective Agency, I echo the sentiment on Ozark and The OA, I also dug Bright and Son of Zorn but those probably aren't everyone's cup of tea.

Narcos has 4 seasons...lol. 1 and 2 are incredible, season 3 sucks, and season 4 is pretty good.
Narcos has 3 seasons. (The Colombia Story)

Narcos Mexico is a new story (The Mexican story)

I had a hard time with the way Kike Camarena was portrayed. Love Michael Peña as an actor, but he was not very good as Kike. Specifically with the opening scene in the hotel room.

The Actor that portrayed El Chapo, was also not a good pick.

Narcos 3 was really good because it's the closest to the real life drama. Chepe and Pacho were real son's of bitches.

Didn't realize they categorized them like that. I agree about the first scene in hotel kike, but I still like the story line and action.

I'd recommend Fargo if you haven't seen it. The TV show.
Yes! Fargo is fantastic. Must watch if you’re a Coen Brothers fan. Great casts, great writing, tons of little Easter eggs, some really memorable characters. I had assumed that it was yet another shitty spinoff show cashing in on a successful movie, and didn’t give it a chance for a long time, but it’s really good and very much feels like a Coen Brothers movie.

Ya gotta figure with $250 million at the bottom of a rock gorge, Triple Frontier has to have a sequel.

Nobody has mentioned the docs. Why? Excellent science, history, politics etc.

Seeing as how the history channel is more interested in alligator man wrestling alligators in the swamp (tastes like chicken apparently) Netflix is the place to go to learn some amazing stuff.

"One strange rock" narrated by will smith talks to astronauts, like Canadian hero Chris Hatfield, about how they view the earth from space. Great stuff of a very high order.

All the Star Trek reruns for Trekkies and "White Rabbit Project" for MythBusters fans

The show has some of the best Villains on TV. Ever! Billy Bob Thornton was just fucking amazing in season one.

Lorne Malvo was stone cold. Great character. Hanzee is season 2 was a scary dude too. Honestly, there are a ton of amazing characters in that show. Varga, Wrench, Lester, Emmit and Ray... really just a great job overall with the writing and casting.

That's Julia Garner, she's a great young actress. She was Kimberly Breland, the Senator's daughter, in The Americans. In the end Phil Jennings/Misha didn't have the heart to destroy her life and send her into exile in the USSR.

Yep, Julia Garner in my two favourite shows, Americans and Ozark. I love/loved her father in Ozark.....best back woods inbred hick character of all time.

"5:00 to 7:00" a little gem of a film perfectly presenting the European attitude vs. the North American...

...you'll be glad you watched it and it won't be what you think.

and all the great british shows - especially all the different 'police procedurals'
shetland
vexed
hinterland
broadchurch
midsomer murders
collateral
river
line of duty
the fall ()
scott and bailey
ripper street
sherlock
father brown

- and the british making fun of their own many foibles and quirks (and there are many - eg. taking tinned baked beans on vacation just in case cant get them)
'Very British Problems'

---

'Brain Games' - fun and amazing show - by national geographic - not iq test stuff - but fun look at how things are often not as they seem

- Idiot Test - sterotypical lame US game show - but very different and fun questions

- Anthony Bourdain - Parts Unknown -- not like his other shows - ie. not a typical food / travel show -- it's a CNN show, and it's as if they said here's a show, go and do whatever you want - and he does
