The roaming rates on WIND are competitive, at 20c/min. That is competitive with the rates on a basic plan from the big3.

The problem is dead areas inside the wind coverage area. As a hobby phone, not a big deal, but could be an issue if you depend on your phone for work.

Also data on the wind network is very slow, and at peak usage hours sometimes unusable.

At the price they charge, it is a good deal, but you certainly get what you pay for. You will pay twice as much for a worse plan from the big3, but data will be reliable and there will be far fewer dead zones.
Agree. Always a balancing act between quantity and quality.

At first I also thought internet was slow, that what everyone said. But for the price, it's worth trying and I was amazed. 2 persons are using Wind Mobile in my house now. About the network, I went to Niagara, Montreal, Quebec, Pennsylvania, Buffalo, not network issue.

I think when others are saying "network issues" they don't mean no service at all, just no service in WIND areas. Meaning, they are using other networks outside of WIND's own territory, which isn't cheap.
