Tried speed dating, not really my thing. Not enoght time to show your personality in 6 mintues, so it is all based on appearances (in my opinion).

POF rocks!!! I have had soooo much luck with that site. It is absolutely amazing if one has a little game. As a matter of fact, I rejoined 2 weeks ago, and had 2 dates last week, and another scheduled for this weekend. All nice looking women. The first two were not what I was interested in, but it is pretty easy to at least get a date or a few from there.

IMHO speed dating makes way more sense than internet dating. It seems that all of the women you meet through internet dating never look like they do in their photos .

At least with SD "what you see is what you get."! If you don't like the woman's looks or personality you just move on. Only 6 minutes of time wasted. As usual, just my opinion---lol.

LOL so true. I have a saying about female's profile pics: they were taken 20 yrs or 20 lbs ago. Then when you meet them in real life you say: I know the camera adds 10 lbs but why are you walking around with 5 cameras on you right now?
