Why not just book with an agency if you're new and have these concerns?
It reduces the risk of getting a terrible experience or of annoying booking issues/no shows. You usually don't have to book too far in advance. Plus the agency pictures usually give a better indication of what the girl looks like than your backpage link.
I can't recommend one since I think all the ones I've been to have since closed, but I'm sure there's a few solid ones out there.
