The picture is not the SCION FRS, which is RWD, the one in the picture is a front driver.Rear wheel drive manual, in a light, low profile car, doesn't get much more fun than that.
You beat me to it,...actually the FRS is a Toyota with a Subaru boxer motor. That car is FWD, the FRS was RWD. Other then that its a Toyota, so if you like the car there is little to be concerned about as long as its a good example.
I never saw that happen when I went to buy an Oldsmobile. Getting parts for it wasn't a problem either as GM seemed to have plenty of stock of parts because of its commonality with Chevrolet and Pontiac. The Scion brand is being phased out and some models are being converted to that Toyota brand. When a brand ( even a model ) goes out of existence the value drops. Saturn cars are worth bupkiss now.
Which means you can get a better deal on it....The Scion brand is being phased out and some models are being converted to that Toyota brand. When a brand ( even a model ) goes out of existence the value drops. Saturn cars are worth bupkiss now.
Have to buy both then, one for summer, one for winter. That car is FWD, the FRS was RWD. Other then that its a Toyota, so if you like the car there is little to be concerned about as long as its a good example.
I've driven one,...a lot of fun for sure,....the lowest center of gravity of just about anything on the road definitely helps.I own an FRS, fun car to drive. Second year no problems. Drive it in winter with winter tires and its fine until 5+ cm of snow.
Having a car for the summer is a good idea and not that expensive I have had 2 cars for almost 25 years and it has saved me money actually.Have to buy both then, one for summer, one for winter.
On September 1, 2016, the Scion brand transitioned to Toyota. The Scion brand is being phased out and some models are being converted to that Toyota brand. When a brand ( even a model ) goes out of existence the value drops. Saturn cars are worth bupkiss now.
What are you saying,...driver skill has something to do with how you make out in the winter,...bite your tongue Mr.I bought a Camry LE in August and love it. It has a nice ride, has sufficient power and handles great. The last 3 cars I owned were Buicks, had an 84 Chevy Citation that I bought new, and the 3 before that were Oldsmobiles. This is only my second new car. All the others were used.
I'm sure it will be ok in the snow since I have never had any problems in winter before. It's not the car that gets stuck in the snow, it's the driver not knowing how to drive in it. I laugh at dumbass people trying to drive in snow. It's entertaining.
