First off, I don't think Trudeau is racist. I think he's stupid.

Not voting for him for a couple of reasons:

His government hasn't done anything except legalize pot and spend like a drunken sailor.

His moral compass is off. The SNC Lavalin scandal and firing of Wilson Raybould showed that.

He doesn't seem to do anything except take trips abroad.

Lastly, he seems to be more concerned about what the rest of the world is doing and being a world leader that the leader of Canada.

416 and 905 are supposed to be Liberal strongholds. Is this still likely going to be the case, or is Doug Ford still sabotaging things for the Federal Conservatives?

Justin is an idiot and a constant source of embarrassment, but as was said above, trusting Scheer not to fuck with social issues (like sex work) is truly foolish. NDP and Greens are too liberal/PC and have zero chance of winning anyway.

Trudeau is my de facto choice, but I’m not happy about it. Just aren’t really any good choices here, and if you have no good choice, the best choice is just to make no choice at all. Keep the status quo, ride it out another few years, and hopefully we get a couple better choices next time.

If it were someone other than Scheer a church choir boy at the helm of the conservatives, I may consider voting conservative. Scheer will revisit Bill C-36 to cater to his bible thumper base. And for the women out there, he will ban abortion and for the LBGTQ community you know what he is. So I will vote Liberal.

I'll be voting Liberal for several reasons:
--philosophically I am middle of the road, which in Canada means Liberal. It would take a lot to make me change.
--Trudeau is the lesser of 5 evils, which is usually how elections are decided.
--the black face photos were, to me, an example of immaturity and not actual racism.
--in the SNC-Lavalin affair I strongly believe any other leader would have done the same. If you don't think the Conservatives would have stepped in to protect an oil company in the same situation then you're naive. The only difference was the Liberals had an AG(or minister of justice) that wouldn't put up with it.
--with regards to spending, Canadians talk a lot about too much government spending but when the Government tries to cut spending Canadians shit themselves. Canadians like the things the Government pays for, they just don't want to admit it.
--I've heard nothing from Scheer about how he would run things, just criticisms of Trudeau. If all you do is criticize your opponent then you've shown me nothing about yourself.
--I lost a lot of respect for Singh shortly after he became NDP leader and tried to duck questions about the Air India disaster. Also, I think he's juicing the blackface scandal a bit too much, and is close to converting a turban from a religious symbol to a political prop.

Will vote Liberal. Strongest job numbers in 40 years. Latest GDP growth beat all expectations and was even higher than the USA. Yes, it was wrong for Trudeau to dress up like he did, although at that time not many Canadians were concerned about classifying it as "racist". He apologized for it and to me it looked like a very sincere apology. When is Scheer going to apologize for his derogatory comments that he made about Gay Marriage? Remember that Harper categorically stated that he would strictly impose the Bill C-36 if he were elected, as he was disappointed regarding the lack of enforcement. Scheer who is morally very religious no doubt will take that Harper route. This Board may then cease to exist!!

We’re on an escort review board. There’s no reason to be here if you don’t care about sex/sex workers, that’s literally the only reason to be here rather than any of the other millions of forums out there. Voting Scheer is voting against your own interests. I get that we’re all radicals now and have to tow the party line and vote for “our guys” regardless of whether we actually think they’re decent human beings and will make good leaders, but maybe just going “lul libruls” isn’t super smart in this case.

Hypothetically, let’s say Scheer wins and decides to strictly enforce C-36 (not saying he for sure will, but he very well might). This board’s probably gone, and seeing SPs just got a lot harder/more risky. Will that make you feel good? Is that a win to you? Is it worth destroying something you (presumably) love just to stick your thumb in the left’s collective eye?
