Anyone ever experienced Erectile Dysfunction?

Probably around last July I noticed my erections have gotten harder to maintain. In fact it sometimes goes limp if I have to do Mish or doggy. The only way it stays hard all the time if it's a BBBJ. For intercourse I prefer cowgirl now because my penis can stay harder in that position without me moving around.

There are a couple of factors that might be causing my ED.
1) I'm getting older......39
2) Stress......my dad has Alzheimer's, he had to move into a senior's home this year and it is depressing visiting him and seeing all the other old people
3) I'm probably overweight by 30lbs, my diet has been horrible for the last three years

However I do not smoke, drink, do drugs of any kind and exercise on a regular basis(even though I've gained weight). I get more sleep than most but still need more.

Would appreciate thoughts and personal experiences with ED. I really admire guys who always can get hard no matter how old, how much stress they are under, extremely overweight, and even to girls they are not attracted to!

Again never had this problem pop up till last year.

Im around your age, and thankfully this problrm has not yet "popped up" ( nice choice of words). Tho if i am hurried, stressed, overtired, it occasionally can take ages to cum.

It may be just the factors you list (stress is a killer, and if you are worried about it, that leads to more stress!) but if this is a consistent pattern of worsening erectile function, best to see your doctor. Occasionally this can be a sign of a larger medical problem.

I've experienced it under stress and lack of sleep. Was with an SP a few months back where I couldn't get hard enough for CG because I only had something like 4 hours of sleep the night before. Also, if you watch porn, or masturbate often, it could also be a factor. I went on a no-porn-for-30-days mission a month or two ago, including masturbating only once every 3 days, and at the very least, I've experienced much stronger erections.

Diet can also be a factor as well. there are so many different variables. Do you masturbate often?

I had the same problem until last month when I was forced to not watch porn and didn't have the freedom to masturbate 2 or 3 times a day. After a week, when I was with my SO, she told me my dick felt like the Hulk and she had one of her best orgasms ever. I've stopped watching porn frequently since then. Try it.

How's your sleep quality? I always feel sleepy during Summer and my performance suffers. When Summer comes, I am only able to get to sleep around 12am, and wake up at 4am, manage to sleep again for a hour and half, and wake up again at 5am or maybe 6am. Summer just kills me. In Winter, I sleep like a baby and horny as a teenage boy. When heavy snow covers the whole city, I'm happy as a dog in snow. I've been suffering this for years. All I've heard is how to deal with winter blues and nobody believes my story. If you "get more sleep than most but still need more", maybe your sleep quality is low.

in an elevator...going up to ??
i think you're mentally taking yourself out of the game...39 is not the magic number...

all these things happening around you...think about the good...your father needs you...you go to him...regardless of where he is...he's being taken care of

...30 pounds may make the shirt tighter but you are definitely not overweight...find 30-60 minutes of walking around in the day and watch the diet...it will go...

i can't comment on sleep...lack of sleep puts me on hard-ons all the time...go figure...

Anyone ever experienced Erectile Dysfunction?

I thought I was okay until I read some members complaining about their third SOG in their 60 minute session with an SP.

You most definitely are overweight, and losing it will help improve your problem. I speak from experience.

Happened once with a very uninspiring MPA.
She was young and hot enough but her attitude just turned me off.
Very white trashy and very non-sensual.
Felt like it was at a trailer park doctor for a checkup.

Another time wasn't able to shoot, much for the same reason. Grimacing and "Ohhhh arm hurt.. You cum now, okay?"

When I was 19, it never went down. I could cum - it would not go down till I took myself out of the game. This probably lasted till I was about 30 or so.

From 30 or so, it started behaving normally - cum, go down. But I was always raring to go (obsessed even to the point of concern).

When my dad died in 2003 I was 39 and experienced a period of depression that resulted in an almost total loss of libido and half erections at best. I have never been so sad in all my life. (My mother had died 5 years prior to that and although I was closer to my mother there was something far worse emotionally when my dad died. I dunno if it was no longer having any parents, or guilt, or what. In either case, it was bad and nothing gave me joy. I mean nothing. I'd barely get hard and then lose it when it came time to take the plunge. This may sound stupid, but the only thing that got me out of that funk was a 10 pound stray cat I adopted that broght something back into my life.)

Gradually the libido came back.

I'm 46 now and my libido is not what it used to be. Knock on wood, the erections are still fine, but they are not the diamond cutters that they used to be. I find that if I have a solid weekend of sex, I'm pretty much disinterested for a couple of days, which never was the case before.

I'm 6-3 and about 220 # and stressed to the MAX at work. I could stand to lose about 25 pounds, maybe 30 at the max. (When I finished University, I clearly remember getting weighed at the YMCA and was 196# at the time.)

So yeah, stress, a few extra pounds, your father - they are all adding up on you to affect your cock. It doesn't take a lot.

Try cleaning up your diet and losing the weight. Get some moderate exercise. Eat healthy. Get enough sleep. It might clear up on its own. Especially as you age your body can be very responsive to how well it's being treated. Especially anything that might affect your cardiovascular health--like lack of exercise, or a poor diet. Being overweight can hit your cardiovascular system as well, although 30lbs should not be enough to do it. Still it's worth a try--better to fix the problem via lifestyle improvement than via drugs, honestly.

If after you've lost the weight and you feel you're eating and sleeping healthy you STILL have problems then you should probably go and see your doctor.

I know that my body will go through cycles. If I'm not living healthily I'll go through phases where either it takes far too much time, or far too little, to reach SOG, but I find that if I eat healthy, sleep, etc., things tend to clear up and I'm back to normal again. I've seen some of these cycles last as long as a few months, of being too quick, or too slow. Not quite the same as your problem it sounds though.

Been there done that. As soon as it becomes painfully aparent that she's just going through the motions because you paid your money - I'd rather just leave.

Was listening to online radio at a friends last night and there was an ad for this new drug that increases your testosterone. Free trial or something like that available. Don't recall the name, but when I did a search, Vitali T Aid is the first things that show up.

I kinda have the same issue as OP, at times it is hard to keep my erections. Also there are many times where it is harder to get erect. The horny feeling, is really up and down. I've thought about going to my doctor recently, but I'm kinda interested in that ad I heard last night. Gonna go read more and maybe try this Vitali first.

Be careful. Your body should have the ability to produce enough testosterone. You need to find out the reason why your level is low. Maybe some physical exercise will do the trick. Of course, it will take some time. Taking a pill makes immediate improvement. However, once you get enough testosterone in your body from the durgs, your body will stop produce more testosterone. This could do more damage than help. You could end up to depend on the drugs because our body follow one basic rule. The less you use it, the less functional it will be. Find the reason first. Taking pills is the last solution.

+1

You want your body producing the stuff naturally. You don't want to your balls to shrink.

Maybe you could tell us the mechanism of action of this pill that is being referred to. Is it straight testosterone? Is it a pill that helps the body produce more of its' own testosterone? Which organ and which part of it is producing the testosterone? How long does it take for this organ to recover? How do you know it will help immediately?

If you don't know the answers to these questions you are giving very unqualified advice and saying anything more than "go see your doctor" is inappropriate. ED is very common as men age but has many different etiologies, many of which are properly treated with medication without serious side effects.

Doubt this is your problem, but, if you happen to be on propecia. That's what did it. Might be off topic, but, guys, don't touch propecia. It can cause permanent ED. Take rogaine or something topical.

Are you taking any medications?

I have heavy allergies and when I was around 38-39 yrs old it was so bad that I had to take Claritin daily. Well guess what? Allergy meds are an anti-inflammatory. I had no idea it would affect my erections. It cost me a relationship, some potential good times at some swingers house parties and most importantly my confidence. It wasn't until years later that a specialist figured it out for me.
