What Wendys is doing is almost as bad as those restaurants who serve you Tilapia and claim it is Red Snapper.

Ever notice the Wendy's Baconater ads where the bacon is nice and crisp and crinkled but when you get it the bacons that shitty Maple Leaf MICROWAVABLE stuff all limp and chewy!!!

Hate it when they do this at the real food stuff found at grocery stores though. I'll pay the extra bit thank you very much don't shrink my food to save some change.
the way food manufactuers make more money without increasing prices is making the packages smaller and holding the price.
i think this is inflation in a indirect way. unit cost is higher but overall cost is same.
also look at the food containers. they look huge but the bottoms are dented inwards to take up space inside. looks like you are geting a lot but not really.
this really started over th elast few years with increased competition and also with the dramatic rise in commodity prices.

I've noticed the exact opposite trend at Wendy's.
When I go to Wendy's the combos are offered in small, medium, large.
When I was younger, I remember ordering a medium or large, because the small looked like a kid's meal.
Now, the "small" looks like the "large" from before. They always over-fill the fry-box anyway, and the "small" drink these days is like the "medium" drink before.
So a "small" these days is plenty, imo.
