I got 2 messages in 2 days from 2 different brand new members.
Both messages were links to a thread on another review board.
The thread seems like a rant against some of the higher priced escorts with claims about using screening info for blackmail, etc.

Anybody else getting these?

Are you a member of that other board and using the same handle on both? If the answer is yes to both questions, most likely that's why you were chosen to receive this spam.

Escort board wars remind me of Wrestling's Monday Night Wars from 20 years ago...except, the wrestling one's were interesting and fun while TERB doesn't even participate and win's in a walk.

If someone else posts that they received the same messages, there would probably be something in common in your profile and/ or posting history. I'm going to take a look at your past posts, to see if anything stands out. I'm guessing that these two members are bots.

Edit: I didn't see any 'smoking gun' in your posting history that should single you out for those messages. When I used to post on 'theunclean dot com', the bot would always reply to the second post of the comments section. I noticed you had the 3rd, 4th, or 5th post in several recent threads. That could be relevant.

It is probably if you have commented on certain targeted threads.
Also dependent on what your comment was and then he will assess if you can be swayed. If so, he will send the message.

Somewhat of a conman game type strategy.
Locate target
Assess target
Manipulate target

That's how a human would do it. I presumed that the message came from a bot. I didn't see anything in newguy20's posting history that should target him as a mark. He posts frequently in the reviews section, He rarely starts threads, and he rarely posts more than once in the same thread.

We'd need to have at least one, and preferably several, other recipients of the messages to see how that group of members differs from everyone else.
