I used to play a lot of snooker growing up in Winnipeg. Not so much when I moved to Montreal and then Toronto. Back then I played a lot of games in Winnipeg with Billy Werbeniuk. We were both about 18 at the time and played at the same level. But later he became a great snooker player and won many tournaments in England. I believe the best player out of Toronto was Cliff Thorburn. In Montreal I did get to play in a tournament game with Eddie Agha, but was completely out-matched.

TikTok has many snooker clips, and on TikTok I got introduced to British snooker tournament clips, many including the GOAT Ronnie O'Sullivan. Snooker played at a level I could only dream about when I was a player.

If you're a snooker fan and haven't ever seen the game played to near perfection, search Ronnie O'Sullivan on YouTube for his tournament games. There are a lot of his recent tournaments, and several perfect 147's.

147's are 15 reds, 15 blacks, and then all the colours cleared after the reds were done.

One of his 147's took less than 6 minutes! His cue ball control and position play is unbelievable...

Search Ronnie O'Sullivan on YouTube for whole matches between Ronnie and other great players, and snooker on TikTok for single game clips.

I used to play snooker many years ago. It is very difficult to find a full-sized snooker table anywhere these days.
I watched some technicians prepare a full size table for a tournament once. it was quite interesting. To bring the table up to regulation, they actually made the pockets smaller and tighter. They also stretched the cloth tighter.
I watched Thornburn play back in the 70s. He was a slow methodical player who was very intense. He also smoked a lot while he was playing.
