I have considered extra work in retirement when it hits. Just for shits and giggles.

But in the end X factor is a thing. Some people just have charisma and presence naturally and use that. I've experienced it often enough that it's quite real.

You are treated like crap.

Not all agents charge you to hire them (they all charge commission), but the trick is to find casting directors who post on social media to cancel out the middle man. Casting directors don't take commission.

Any form of entertainment is difficult, I found that out when I joined a recital of Jesus Christ. It was staged by the founder of Opera Atelier, Giuseppe Macina. Not wanting to disappoint the vocal trainer who restored Neil Young's voice, I put the work in. It was a satisfying experience, I didn't repeat it.

My attempt at performance was rendered irrelevant by The King of All Actors.

I need advice

I am having fun in an acting school.

Trick is do not act, just be the character then whatever comes out is real. If you are gonna act do not get caught doing it

It is quite hard to do. I was gonna quit but my teacher talked me out of it as his instinct was I was good I just had to stop acting.

I did not trust myself to do it but when I just said ' fuck it' I got a a lot better.

Now, each time I do a scene it is different as different emotions come out and then it becomes fun instead of stressing about how bad you are. I had to learn to trust myself

Time to create a resume of scenes and get an agent.

I hesitate as it seems like too much hassle and too stressful if I land a job

I am not thinking I am gonna become famous, it just sounds like a fun yet challenging thing to do

Not interested doing commercials or a bad play or a bad movie

I am interested in the art

Bit scene in a good movie or a part in a solid amateur play

If you're having fun, go try and do some work.
Don't expect much out of it as a job or to make money or even to ever get to do anything that gets seen.
