Went to go visit a new sp at the usual hotel. Everything was going good till I got there and she ask me to snap a pic of the hotel she's staying. I never been asked this before ask why, to which she responds please I'll give you my avitacoin number. The hell is avitacoin? I'm naturally just kinda paranoid but is this not odd behavior?
Any one expirence this behavior before?

Red flag, if you ask me. Lots of scammers. Had something weird happen to me this week. Once I got to hotel parking, I saw 2 people in a black SUV , I texted that I was there, waiting for room #... was asked what I drive.... gave a different vehicle than mine. One of the guys got out and started walking in the parking lot, while the other was looking around. I left. Maybe they had nothing to do with why I was there, but not taking chances.

Blackmail. "I'm going to tell your xxxx you met a lady at XOXO hotel. I have time stamped proof you were there..."

Or she'll say you stole something and she'll blame you and prove you were nearby.
She might innocently want proof you are actually there for the appointment, but not worth the risk. Tell her you understand her security concerns, but gently inform her that you have your protocols too, and this is not one of them.

I made arrangements to meet someone, arrived on time, said that I was there, she needed a few more minutes- they often too
then she ghosted me
a black guy walks up to my car and asks if I can give his truck a boost
I say sorry but that there is no way my 4 banger can bost your truck
and he walked away and I got out of dodge quick
if somethibg does not feel right- just walk away

This is one of difficult nature. The possibility of scammer or law enforcement I suppose can be present. Can also be girl just wanting confirmation that her date has actually arrived at the hotel. I would inquire to purpose of picture and see what they say before assume scam and see how you feel after. But I'm not on your side of the door so hard to be in your shoes.
