I think that there is a city by-law that says BBBJCIM is not permitted after 9PM Sunday to Thursday and 10PM Fridays and Saturdays.

After that it's CBJ only until 8AM.

There used to be no time constraints but that changed under the Barbara Hall admin. She's the one that almost banned The Barenaked Ladies from playing at City Hall.

And that law is racist. POC are more likely to do shift work and can't leave until their shift ends. Unlike office workers, who tend to be white, and can sneak out for an hour or two for a "meeting".
