Hey girls,

I'm planning to go down to the States to work next month for a week or two. Was thinking maybe Miami...make some $$$ and get some sun and was looking to see if anyone wanted to join me, share accomadations and stuff. Pm if you're interested. I'm flexible with where to go. Plus does anyone know what clubs in the States are the best to make some quick $$$...for a medium mileage dancer?

Dear, Kat19 just go under the sun and have fun, relax . . . but also remember that a lot of American dancers come to Canada to make the real $$$
You said you are a medium mileage dancer, I respect that but after dancing in US your expectation may change for worse and that could not be good for your mind and pocket book once you are back to Canada IMO, just keep that in mind!

better else where

Dear Kat19,

Each state has different laws and rules ..

ei: State of Georgia.. No alcohol, but nudity is allowed...
ei: florida state alcohol allowed but, nudity is not allowed on stage only private dances..

If you tell U.S custom that you are looking for work or going down to work with out proper documents etc.. you will be refused and label as an undesirable in the U.S. Kiss the U.S good Bye for good.. Then if you have proper documents you will under go retna scan and finger printer. The U.S is no the same as before..There are crackdowns on illegally workers on a monthly basis. Follow Cyrus's adviced..because the canadian dollar is .82 to the u.s dollar..

markham i think you may be confussed, some states in the US have the rule that if want to have a club that is totally naked the club must not serve alcohol. if the club wants to serve alcohol then it must be topless only. so it may have all depended on the particular club you visited in each state.

Proper documents for a Canadian citizen is .gov issued photo id at minimum. It is better to have a passport. The finger print / glazball scan is only for travellers who are required to have a visa to enter the US.

Those holding specified classes of degrees are legally entitled to work in the US under the provisions of NAFTA. A TN visa costs 50$ US and is a "shall issue" document. One must bring their degree and a letter of intent from the contracting party stating the value of the work. The visa is granted upon presentation of said docs at US Immigration. A degreed dancer thus may legally consult in the US.

I got to admit I am new at this.

How do you get certified for specified classes of degrees?

Do you obtain OFFER FOR EMPLOYMENT first, or do you obtain this certication of specified classes first?

And what do you mean "A degreed dancer may legally consult in the US"?

Thanks in advance.

Under NAFTA certain classes of professionals are allowed to work unhindered. In my case, as an engineer I have consulted cross border this way. There is a list of professions allowed to do this - no further certification is required - search US immigration for TN visa for NAFTA professionals, its out there somewhere.

If entitled, all you need is a letter from the other party stating the value of the work. US immigration copies this and your degree and then issues the visa. It is multiple entry and valid for a year.

Thus, if a dancer had a degree on the list, she could get a letter from the club stating that she will consult for some specified sum of $$.

The issue is that most cities in U.S. with the exception of a few metropolitan areas in blue states have a very neo-conservative views when it comes to morality, nudity as well as the rest of the world in contrast to our own in Canada.
Unless a hot dancer wants to go to state to work as porn star or legal prostitute in Nevada (i.e., the best are Canadian) I don't see why bother!

I just wanted to work a bit well i had my reading week and get some sun. When I went to California alot of the clubs would let you work without a permit and only required a passport. Maybe I was mistaken but a few dancers had told me of all the cash they had made in places like New York, San Fran, and Florida, etc.

yeah a lot of girls tell me they make lots down there. there's a lot more restrictions down there one low milage girl was shocked when girls in the US confronted her for being high milage because she got totally nude. the tables kind of turned on her in the US which was kind of ironic because she was the one confronting high milage dancers up here.

I roomed with 2 foreign dancers in NYC and they never had any problems. As long as you stay out of juice bars (full nudity), the dances were low milage (CDN Standards) & $20 US. Get in their VIP, and very good money.

Please. Enough with the fear-mongering. I don't think she's that stupid to tell customs she's going down to work. She said she was only going for a couple weeks. Just tell them you're going on vacation.

From the dancers I've talked to (all of them hot!), the money in the States was FAR better than up hear - even factoring in the exchange rate. Americans spend more in SCs than Canadians do. Of course, you have to go to the better clubs and you have to be hot. Otherwise, it's probably not worth it. Also note that you have to pay for hotel and food while down there. None of these dancers got the "required" paperwork to go down to the States; they just worked freelance for a few weeks at a time.

The only warning I'd give is not to pack your bag full of stripper shoes and clothes; it's a dead give away as to your intentions. If you're going someplace warm, just plan on wearing bikinis and take one set of "club" shoes.

A good dancer can make a lot of $$ in a so-so club and a bad dancer can go broke in a top club, inmho. Here's an idea:

go to stripclublist.com and focus in on a city, chit chat a while in the forums of the clubs that look promising and see if you can get some mutual interest going (beware: a lot of us US guys are real boors, so you have to have a thick skin)

then you have a plan, see?

Just an idea. Good luck.

Don't listen to any of the Nay Sayers... florida is a great place for Canadian Girls to Work this time of year... The money is Better and the dances are generally tamer except some clubs in Tampa and Miami.

just ask some of the girls that have worked there:
Amber at Brass Rail, Wagg
Kelli at CB
Natalia Caliente of Wagg- or maybe she already left for Florida for this year.

... most girls work in Palm Beach, West Palm, Fort Lauderdale, and I know of one girl that is working in Miami.

you can do it safe and legal... these girls have all have their own trade secrets on how to do it properly.

Kat, Mons Venus in Tampa is a very busy place with lots of attractive women. You would fit in perfectly. Fully nude, no alcohol and medium mileage now but has a reputation from it's high mileage past. PM me if you want more details.
