I'm going to Fallsview tonight and have never played the game. Tried reading a couple sites on the basics but still don't have a full grasp of it.

Any help?

Perhaps even just a link to a better site than the ones I've been reading...

I play at Fallsview and Niagara often. Use basic strategy:

You're minimum bet will probably be $25 tonite with few tables, if any, to choose from. That's why I usually play during the week. Take advantage of every "double down". That's the only way you get ahead. You also need to press your bet, but do it with their money and not randomly when you "have a feeling."

I use a progressive 1,2,3,5,1 betting method. At a $25 table your first bet is $25. IF you win you go to $50 (2x25). IF you win you go to $75 (3x25) pulling $25 BACK. Now you have $25 of the casinos money. IF you win the next hand you go to $125 (5x25). IF you win that hand you pull it all back and start at $25. Or if any time you lose a hand you go back to $25. I wouldn't sit down unless I had $1500 to play with.

You'll hear a lot of BS at the table from losers who haven't a clue. Ex: Basic says hit a hard 12 against a dealers 2 or 3. But lots of people will say NO!!! Those are the people you shouldn't pay attention to. Another ex: Take even money when the dealer has an Ace up and you have Blackjack. Lot's will say "take the even money!!" Again LOSERS!! Why do you think the casino is offering you even money? Because it's to the casinos advantage!!! Always split 9's against EXCEPT against a dealers 7, 10 or A. I could go on for hours, but I won't.

Shit. I think I'll stick to roulette :p I'm only going with like $200

I'd rather play at the poker tables but I'll be with a girlfriend and she doesn't play so I won't just leave her alone.

Blackjack is too much to memorize at the moment. I'll learn when I have more money to play with.

Sounds like a plan. That's another way the casino makes a bundle. I have played BJ for years. I know I can sit down and get even. It may take me 30 minutes or 10 hrs, but I have the cash to do so. The key is realistic goals and walking away when you get there. I think I do that better than most.

The casino loves someone that walks up with a small bank roll because once you lose it you are gone. They get to keep you money. Someone like me can stay for hours and get even or ahead. But again most don't. They sit there until they are losers.

It's tough to bring a date to the casino. They get bored and want to try something else. They aren't concerned you're on the hook for a few hundred bucks. But I have taken a few "dancers" there and you just have to say "bye bye money" at the door or as a dealer wants told me, "hope to be struck by lightning".

Yes, it is sad because I don't frequent every SC in Ontario. Anyway, I always get the two "S's" in the Falls confused. One is the naugthier one with the attached MP.

Maybe they caught Joy cheating at cards and she is being held prisoner in a windowless room.

This could get as ugly as when Ted Clinton went missing for weeks and we all thought he was on a date with an SC dancer.
