Counting the days till mid August when I'll be going to a cottage just south of Timmins for a week! 7 days of bass, walleye, pike action hopefully punctuated by Northern Lights sightings at night.
Any anglers in the house??

I live close to Frenchmans Bay, apparently the pike fishing is pretty good in there. But for me I like the surroundings as much as the fishing, so I don't go there.
Yes, that's what I was thinking, my buddy goes there for carp. Its not far from Pickering angels too.
A Boat Launches thread should be started. I find that is a barrier to me heading out to new places.
Me either. I love fishing but I will keep it seasonal. I’m not freezing my tits off.
Lol yeah I get that. I'm not big into it. Usually ice fish around Apsley but walking threw thensnownis brutal. Looking for a few places without so much snow. It can be pretty fun. Bring a hut and a BBQ.
Hunter's General Store in Apsley sells Fart Bombs. If you have kids, or nephews, gifting them will make you a hero. (Personal experience)
Well, if you would like me to keep them warm...
In the huts its very warm, they have a little stove and the huts are lined with Styrofoam.
I know, they even have ice bungalows now, complete with toilets, kitchen, all the comforts of home. But 15 years infantry means I've slept in snowbanks for days at a time, and I don't intend on doing it again. I still enjoy winter camping, but nowhere north of Florida.
